The parks it's self is perfectly fine, but that being said there is an undeniable problem with the amount homeless that occupy this location. At pretty much any given point in the day there are multiple homeless people sleeping under the pavilion or on/near the playground. We stopped and chatted with some of these people and they were nice but this could definitely be a concern for someone with children. The park has a large parking lot and is right nexr door to the Ogden library which is very convenient
Homeless people are everywhere here. I did not feel safe with my two young kids. And then when I thought it'd be better to go to the Weber Library next door, the entrance was blocked by homeless people as well. Would not recommend this park!
Fun park for little ones but little sketchy due to a lot of homeless. Most of the time you don't pay them no mind, don't judge they won't bother you. My 2 year old loves this park and the slides Playground: Slides are small enough for my two year old she has a blast
This Park is turning into a nice park. Not something to walk through to get to somewhere else.
Don't go after dark, no lights, and way to many police officers on duty. Playground: Very Dark at night.
Since they did all the improvements and added in some more activities and playground for the kids a good place to bring your family and the environment is laid-back along with plenty of places for shade and you could just relaxJ
Lots of questionable older men and women walking arround I would not let my kids play there
Played Frisby golf with my Freind Mike from Seattle Washington Restrooms: They where locked probably cause of sturgis going on Picnic area: Yes alot of tables
Be careful. I had my wife go with our daughter to the bathroom because a lot of homeless have been hanging around. Normally 1 or two is not a issue. But there was someone actively camping out in the bathroom. And according to my wife a man was waiting behind a trashcan. When he saw my 9 year old got up real quick. Then when he noticed my wife sat right back down just as quick. Everyone has a reason I get that. But safety being a issue at a public park during the free meals for kids should never come up. Kids should feel safe. Be careful and watchful. Just remember everyone has a reason and be safe
drove past this park today. as I do almost everyday. it's a beautiful multi-function park. today was what looked like children's soccer games. the little ones were running all over the place. lots of people were crossing the street back and forth. be cautious driving by, it's a busy place and there are many children and adults who don't look before they run across the street. the park is adjacent to the school and it must be 3 city blocks of park. there is usually a fair amount of enjoyment here. at night be careful. I have seen many drug deals, homeless seem to be squatting at the restrooms and the picknic spot. not alot of cover from weather here. and the possibility of being looked at by one or more of the people who frequent here, it's been growing exponentially.
