Quiet and clean campground. The guy running it is super nice and accommodating! He even let us borrow one of his table top grills for a trip to the lake since we forgot oursService: 5/5
Long narrow lots with shade. Entrance & office area are in a unkempt condition. Call ahead to make sure the pool and hot tub are working. Nice large clean Bathrooms. It did have a small playground area but the area & campgrounds were rundown. We did a lot of day trips and really only was around for the evening. So the price was great for this. It has 20/30 amp power. The owner Dennis was extremely friendly. It’s not the greatest but for what we needed we will probably return. NO CELL SERVICE OR WI-FI but the whole area up there has very little service.
Don't believe the photos. The place is definitely run down and the photos have to be from years ago. No working pool, no working hot tub. No fire ring and the sites are very close. If your looking for a place to stay overnight with no kids, this place will do. For those with kids find somewhere else
I have not camped a lot ad an adult but did camp a ton when a kid. My whole family camped here for a few days and this is the worst campground I every remember! It has a pretty cheap nightly rate, but be prepared to use your own bathroom in your camper. If you are unlucky like me and tent camp, you will be highly disappointed with their bathrooms. The woman's bathroom has the ceiling caving in and it was like that a year ago. So clearly they do not do much in the way of maintenance. We did not try the pool. The playground is a joke and pretty run down. The lady who manages it often loses information so make sure you keep your receipt to confirm you paid! I would not recommend staying here.
Bathroom dirty, camp grounds not kept up, didn't have septic hookup available we reserved for, long time camper camps alow to have dog pens utility trailer full of lawn mowers trash. Cheap but lacking pool and hot tub usages.
Friendly rustic well patrolled and clean. Very nice new shower pool and hot tub building! Even though park was full because of local event on river was easy to access our trailer spot. No wifi at park. Close to local town corner so can access needs. Would go again.
Its a decent place to camp and worth the money. They even have an indoor pool. The only complaint would be the bathrooms. They're clean but there was only one lightbulb in the entire men's room so you'll need to bring your own lighting. Still, I'd stay again!
Terrible! Like staying in a black hole! No wifi or service at all. Supposedly has cable TV, but not working. Terribly run down and maintenance non-existent. The "managers" are old and should sell it to someone who can take care of it because it could be nice.
The on-line pictures of this place were not very accurate. There is No office per say...we stood on the "porch". I asked to see the pool/hot tub area, she was hesitant about it but took me because I wasn't going to process our payment until I saw it. He Said their hot tub was ready and the water in it was nasty looking and not even filled up. Owner said no one has been using it so he would have it ready "sometime " that evening. We decided not to stay.
Laid back, a little run down, but owners are very nice. They are older folks who treat you like a special guest. I needed a place to camp for a few days in the area and this place was perfect. There is NO cell phone service!
