The Lexington Public Safety Museum is no longer in the old courthouse. We are currently in a transition period and are looking for a new home!
The Lexington Public Safety Museum’s mission is to preserve, collect, record, and exhibit the history of the corrections, fire, and law enforcement agencies within Fayette County; to serve as an educational museum to promote safety awareness, and to be a memorial for all public safety officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
