On March 13, 2023, I purchased an LG 70NANO75UQA Nanocell TV from Best Buy. Almost immediately after purchase the unit began disconnecting from my wifi and could not find any networks to reconnect to. Just showed "Searching" and a spinning icon. If I soft or hard reset the unit I could reconnect but after a few hours it would disconnect again. I spent many hours troubleshooting my mesh network to no avail. I lived with using my Roku for my streaming content for about a month. On May 29, I contacted LG support via their email link. I received an automated reply that day. I heard nothing else except that they were searching for an alternate provider until I sent an email on June 9 threatening to report them to the FTC and Attorney General of Texas as well as take legal action for Breach of Warranty. That seemed to have gotten their attention as that day they indicated the case had been assigned to a technician located almost 300 miles from my home!. The repair technician finally arrived on July 2 and replaced the WiFi card and ribbon cable. Within an hour after he left, the same issue recurred. I called their customer service number on Monday, July 3 reaching support after a long wait in queue. This time I had to wait until July 31 for a technician to come out a different tech based about 300 miles in the opposite direction of the first tech. He replaced the main board in the set and blamed the issue on my network. Within one day the same issue occurred again. After much additional troubleshooting of my network and changing to a different router with the same results, I emailed support again requesting a replacement set of the same or equivalent model which they declined until they could send out another tech to review the situation as well as have their engineering department look into it. I am almost 2.5 months into this debacle with no resolution in sight. For your own mental well being, DO NOT buy any LG products especially not their TVs. It is clear to me that once they get your money, you are on your own! Update 8/9/2023 Received authorization for a refund as LG was unable to find a technician for my area. I provided all information, my receipt and verification requested. Refund check is due within 10 business days. We shall see. Update 8/18/2023 Received the check refunding the purchase price of the set and tax. Finally, after almost 3 months this ordeal is over. Just waiting for instructions on returning the set to LG.
Ordered 2 LG appliances from Sam’s Club on 5/29. Both were scheduled to deliver and be installed on 6/15. It was sprinkling so the company LG contracted to do it decided to go back to Jacksonville with my appliances. After several phone calls and hours. They rescheduled it for today 6/22. They arrived at 6:20 and only plugged in the range. No leveling or anything else except they turned on one burner and took a picture. I had to level it, remove all the packing tape, film covering and door cushion pads. The oven light doesn’t work from the control panel or by knocking twice as advertised. The range rood microwave was left in my garage because they couldn’t install it. I spent another couple of hours talking to the delivery company, Sam’s and LG and got no were. Not gonna lie, returning both and canceling my Sam’s Club membership and never ever doing business with LG or RXO again
I am a local technician here in Georgia and couple months ago I fixed one of the crooked lg fridge. As usually, I replace the lg compressor. Under the authorization letter from lg. once I finished the job, I didn’t get my labor fee. I called them thousand times, bunch of emails and so on. Seems like they are started not to pay for the repair as well. Last time working with lg fridge. As a technician, don’t buy any lg products. Worse experience you will have even in your dreams.
I will never purchase an LG product again. I have a warranty under my refrigerator compressor and contacting LG is the worst experience I have ever had. My repairman order it over a week ago and still not received. No one at LG can give me an explanation. All foreign speaking so hard to understand. Still waiting. And mad as he'll.
SHAME ON LG ELECTRONICS USA!!! I have waited over 8 months to get a refund from lg. My washer was not even a year old and it stopped working. Lg sent out at least 4 service techs to try and fix it. Those techs could never fix it. Lg was fully aware of it. This has been going on since October 2022. I have begged, pleaded via textwhich were mostly ignored many phone callswhich for the most part has been beyond unsatisfactory to ask for a new washer or a full refund. Almost 10 months and still no refund mailed to me. Lg informed me the washer has been discontinued. I filled out the correct forms and lg acknowledged those forms were successfully received. Once again lg making excuses to not send me a refund check. ITS BEEN A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
I would advise everyone to be very cautious when ordering anything from LG. They have very questionable business practices and lack of customer support. Missed deliveries, no help or support to hold delivery company accountable. Requested a refund and was told 15 days to process a refund. How can a company draft funds immediately for a purchase but take 15 days to issue a refund for a product you never received.
We experienced cooling issues with out LG refrigerator on 6/22/23 and I had a local technician come out and diagnose the issue. The local technician diagnosed that the compressor was not functioning appropriately and I called LG on 6/27/23 to schedule a repair. I had to throw away about $250 worth of groceries due to the cooling issues. The repair was made on 6/30/23, however the ice maker did not start working properly after the repair. I called on 7/5/23 to schedule a repair for the ice maker and process the food reimbursement that was mentioned to me by my technician. The associate on the call said the food reimbursement would be processed once the ice maker repairs were made. Ice maker was fixed on 7/21/23. I called on 7/31 to finally proceed with the food loss reimbursement, but the associate informed me that they had a “5 day window” policy and that my claim could not be honored. I asked to speak to a manager and they said I would be called but I didn’t receive any call. I called again on 8/2 and escalated to a manager but they said that they could not honor my claim or “they would be fired and they have a family to support”. Very misleading process and frustrating.
This company does not honor their warranty. We bought an LG refrigerator on 11/1/2019. We began having issues with the Alexa feature on the electronic panel along with other electronic issues with the panel 11/3/2020. LG was to contact us about a refund. By 4/20/2021 we still have not received a call about a refund. On 5/10/2021 a Returns Coordinator began to email us regarding the refund. Emails stopped. We tried following up on 6/14/2021 with no response from LG. From June 2021, we have periodically called LG 1-800 number to receive our refund. IF LG calls back, they hang up on us after we pick up the phone or LG doesn’t call at all. Finally in January 2022, we called, and the LG person said we needed to send a handwritten letter stating we have not received a refund. Then nothing happened. We began our calls to LG about the status of our refund only to have the run-around again. On April 26, 2023, I called LG again asking about the refund and was hung up on by Neal, a LG repetitive. I called back and spoke with a Delores to complain about Neal hanging up on me to avoid the survey I was to take after the call. Delores had me speak with her supervisor Princess. Princess then proceeds with discussing the refund. We exchanged text messages about the refund, and I again provided proof the unit was not fixable and the proof of purchase. Princess said the refund department would call me the following day. Princess said she would also call to confirm the refund agent had called. They were both to call me on 4/27/2023. NO ONE CALLED. It has been over 2 years since dealing with LG to receive our refund for an unfixable refrigerator. We would like LG to honor the warranty and refund us the money spent. We have more than provided proof of service calls, proof of purchase, proof the unit it not repairable, a written statement we have not received a refund, and any other document they were wanting to finally be issued a refund check. The resolution we are seeking is a full refund in the amount of $6239.41. We have now filed a complaint with the BBB and our state consumer protection agency.
Never buy an LG product!!! They must search the depths of hell to find there customer service representatives. They are the rudest people who don’t listen to a word you say. I Bought a double oven gas range/stove and the electrical part on the back caught on fire. Thank god we were home and AWAKE or we would have lost everything. What does LG do about it? They send a repair person to the house who can’t fix it! Now they won’t reimburse me nor will they fix the issue. This has been on going since January!! In other-words they do NOT stand behind there products and they have the absolute worst costumer service!!!
I bought a tv form LG less than a year ago and I recently had a connection issues. They told me that I should provide a receipt to send it for repair but let me know if anyone keeps their receipts for that long. They also told me that the model was made long than a year ago so I have to prove that I bought it less than a year ago. If you Google, you will notice how many people have had issues with LG tv Wi-Fi connection and remote issues. Don’t recommend
