Okay, always remember that you get what you pay for. I needed to get my mom into a hotel for 2 weeks and didn’t have a lot of money so we chose the Lido. Very sketchy, kinda scary, and definitely dirty. BUT.. the manager was very kind to me and my mother. He asked about her well being every time I saw him and accepted my payment a little late both times I needed to pay him. He made the stay more pleasant than I expected.
AC is small. Doesnt work well. Not put in correctly. Hotel is not managed well. Rules are broken. Duct tape held up the small window in the bathroom. Was nearly broken into. AC unit has duct tape on it for some reason undisclosed by the landlord Neel. Very small room and vanity. Not handicap accessible in my particular room. Relatively chill area. Neighbors are decent. Cheap room. Tv, bathroom, outlets all work. No roaches or other critters except nats because broken window. Locks work on the doors. Warm water accessible. Large bed to fit 3 people if needed. Most things are up to date. No WiFi or internet.
NEGATIVE 10 stars!! Called ahead, a woman said she had a room. We arrived, she took forever to open the office then promptly judged us giving reasons we wouldn't want to stay. She finally let us in telling us she only had 1 bed & no smoking judging my husband & I the entire time. We left
You get what you pay for. If you need a cheap place to stay this is your place. The owner is very nice and accommodating. The people that stand outside are polite and it isnt noisy. The room has a mini fridge, cold ac, warm showers, microwave and a tv with hbo and many other channels. Definitely outdated but clean. Very comfortable beds! But bugs are bad.
My name is Darla Garcia I stayed there with my cat honey in March through may 18 2016 before moving to arcadia Lodge. Thank you for room 20. Hope your doing well. Sorry for the trouble that followed me.
The staff is very friendly and the rooms are reasonably priced. The staff is really great and very understanding. It's an old building, but they are doing the best with what they have. Very good experience. Some of the guests are questionable, but that's hardly the owners fault.
This place is filthy and disgusting! I wouldn't let a dog stay here! Dirty linens on the bed, other people's dirty clothes in the shower and a wrench attached to the faucet handles in the shower to turn it on? I contacted scabies from simply sitting on the bed while waiting for the client I had come to pick up! The Health Department should shut then down.
Worst place in the area. Just 5 mins after arriving, cockroaches started surrounding everything. Then, 1 hour after being there, we realized everything was infested besides the cockroaches by bed bugs. We had to leave and the owner refused to give a full refund. Stay away from here if you wanna avoid carrying bed bugs in all your belongings!
Exactly what you would expect from a $40 room. Small room, slightly dirty, lumpy bed. But made of cinder block so very quiet. hot, high pressure shower. Decent air conditioner. Really all you need. Exactly what I expected.
Spent one day & one night here. Can't beat it for the money. Cons: - small - old carpet - sketchy plumbing - CRT cathode ray tube TV Pros: - great value - fairly new, comfortable bed - clean towels & linens - plenty of hot water - friendly, helpful staff - numerous cable channels & multiple HBO ones - small refrigerator/freezer & microwave
