Dr. Obah is amazing and very knowledgeable. There is a mild wait time to see him but it is because everybody comes to the clinic to see him. He makes the wait worth it. My most recent visit was wonderful thanks to Dr Obah and his amazing MA, Loren. There is nobody else I trust with my pain management. I had no problems with billing, the wait, or staff.
This is the second review I have left with many of the same problems. I have been going to this clinic for over 5 years. The scheduling and billing departments are the most ignorant and self righteous people. They outwardly call u a liar when trying to solve problems and most recently contradicted their entire policy. Because I had called to cancel an appt with my husband's phone when I lost mine they stated since they combed thru their phone records and flat out called me a liar saying hadn't called. I said perhaps you could check the number I was calling from currently and said no it's my responsibility to be update my phone number. This is far from the first time our sheer disappointment has been in this clinic. Gratefully the doctors and nurses are great. This is it for me.
My husband and I have been going here for 5 years. Dr Stacy and Dr Obah are amazing. That's only if u can get by the rudest scheduling person, Jenny, who has time after time hung up on us rather than transferring then accusing us of hanging up on her. After 5 minutes of hold I did call back assuming I wasn't on hold any longer. I then called back and when she answered I quickly told her I simply needed to be transferred to our amazing Medical Assistant, Lindsey. Perhaps a little more customer service and respect training for the gal who has full control of the phone system. Again amazing doctors terrible reception. Thanks for nothing Jenny.
This place is gone. Downhill. The accuse you of things you know you haven't done and don't even check to see the validity of their rumors. I do not take drugs that was found with different medications in my system. However, I had just come out of the hospital so of course I'm going to have different medications in my system but they didn't think about that. They tested me 4 months in a row without even asking me anything. I could have explained to them what happened. But I think they're more interested in making money.
I'm really, very sorry to say that this clinic will refuse all treatment to you if you have a child almost 10yo and no support circle. From a quick med check to procedures. I understand the procedures, I would not want my child to be there for that of course. But a quick check in to renew a card or meds? Really? And the condensending attitude toward me and others I've observed is offensive. Just because I'm in pain, and I have a child that I have no choice but to bring with me personal to the child, doesn't make the staff or doctors better than I am. The lack of compassion and understanding at this pain clinic is appalling. Dr. Obah is the only person who showers a genuine desire to not discriminate against people in pain. Unfortunately to get to Dr. Obah, you have to go through everyone else. Unfortunately I've been in chronic pain for more than 30 years and this is one of the more unprofessional pain clinics I've been to. I'll give it two stars because Dr Obah himself as an individual doctor is spectacular. And I assume it will be a decent clinic as long as you have no children or a lot of help and support at home.
Dr. Obah and his team are amazing! I can't say enough good things about them! I have severe arthritis in my jaw joint that has started to deteriorate. My oral surgeon recommended a jaw joint replacement, and I am only 38. I decided to seek treatment at LifeSpring Pain Management clinic, and my quality of life has improved so much. I started doing SGB shots that has not only helped with my pain but also helped with my anxiety. As a practitioner who helps others, I need to be on my A-game, and with Dr. Obah and Kim and their excellent staff, I have been able to continue helping our community. Today I received another SBG shot, and they deal with my silly comments and laugh. I highly recommend their clinic.
I’m writing on behalf of my mother who I took to many of her appointments. Dr. Obah seems to be absolutely great with the treatments he does. However most often she saw Dr. Cindie Dodenbier who was extremely unprofessional. A typical appointed once you were done waiting was to have Cindie come in pull up all the records on the computer, ask “So how was the last month?” to which my mom would describe whatever particular issue she had experienced. She has fibromyalgia and a variety of other old injuries and issues that flare up at different times. Cindie would nod then look at the current status of the medications and then start blabbing about some political nonsense that had nothing to do with pain management I.e. how much of the US is really LGBTQ, how great Trump is and how much she hates Obama & the Clinton’s, or what her son was doing in his career. Being of very different opinions on those issues we would smile trying not to cause an issue and my mom would attempt to steer the conversation back to the pain issues but to no avail. Cindie never asked follow up questions or attempted to investigate. Then she’d mention some generic thing about medication or exercises. She never took or referred to notes on anything and would completely shift from saying one thing to the opposite the next appointment. One day it’s “well we need to lower the meds and do these exercises and then next month we’ll discuss a referral for injection or pt.” Then the next time its “oh we lowered your meds last time huh? Hows your pain? Hmm, well we’ll go back up. Trump blah blah have a good day!” Ive heard the other doctors are better but I can’t speak to that. The office staff is up and down. Sometimes they’re nice sometimes they made it seem like we had shot their dog. Also they never returned calls and it was very hard to get someone to answer the phone.
l am grateful for this clinic. l love my Dr. as a close friend and she truly cares about me. l just hate how long you have to wait to be seen. ln the end it is worth it though. l look forward to my appointments each month. l am so glad that I don't have an addiction problem, l feel sorry for those that do. lt definitely is a very good clinic for those that suffer in pain.
Jenny who is in charge of scheduling completely spoke over me and hung up on me and was telling me to stop yelling when I was not yelling. Extremely unprofessional. I will be filing a complaint to corporate. The center is nearly impossible to get a hold of. I’ve been trying to call somebody to get in touch with them in regards to an appointment. I have made over 15 calls. Before then I was trying to get a hold of them for weeks in regards to renewing my medical cannabis card. I left multiple messages and no one would ever call me back I eventually called and finally got a hold of somebody who is able to help me.
Dr. Obama is an amazing doctor and has helped me out quite a bit he really is truly amazing. However there are a couple nurses that tend to get get snappy and don't seem to care if you have to sit there in pain and wait hours just to be seen. is this office was a little bit more organized I believe it would come a lot further. There is one lady at the front desk who is always pretty rude to me and to be able to run a successful business there should be staff that treats their patients very politely and courteously. All in all I hope that this business gets a lot better and I believe that it will
