I live at the Lighthouse year round. The owners take pride in their property and it is clean and well kept. Seasonal spots as well are available. Restrooms, showers and laundry. Best rates in town
We live here full time. Rent for first year changes with season. After one year, rate stays locked at same price all year long..bathroom with showers, laundry room . It's a nice RV Park

Great little RV park in a really cool little town! RV park is very close to the water and there are good places to eat and hangout. The RV park itself is pretty basic but the people working there are always very friendly and the restrooms are always very clean. They also have decent WiFi here and plenty of large spots for bigger RV's. They allow dogs which is great and there are lots of cool places around, very close to the boarder of Canada and a short ferry ride to Victoria.
Stayed 1 night while traveling and enjoyed a great quiet nights sleep.
A few factors we were not happy about, first: arriving at the Park, to find and envelope on the door, with our name and the space number where we were to park. We get parked and settled in, and a manager comes down and tells us we are in the WRONG space, my husband responded we were PARKED in the space that was noted next to our name.... she said 'OH, she would have to switch things around" and she let us stay where we were. 2nd, the wifi there even though included in your 'rent' is next to nothing, 3rd- speed limit is 5 MPH, rarely noticed people abiding by it, more like 10+ MPH. Lastly when we checked out, it was in plenty of time to exit by "check-out" time. Once we reached our NEW destination, both my husband and I on our separate phones received texts from the manager, saying we needed to "move out of our space, because she had someone waiting to park in it" ! I called immediately, told her we had been out of the park for several hours and were not there! Her response was "Oh MY BAD" and she went on to talk, however I hung up..All I can say is they are not very professional.
Great location. While front entrance is truly right across from the beach, the property is huge, so your walk could be longer than you think; but who cares? On a nice day in the summer, its a great way to burn off those extra hot dogs or chips! The property has a nice pool and amenity building with pool tables and ping pong tables, a library, lots of seating, and a small kitchen. There are activities going on all the time in the summer. We have only visited a friends here a couple of times, but if you are looking for a place to buy in Birch bay, this is one of the nicer properties.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Lighthouse RV park. We stayed September and October of 2017. The Lighthouse by The Bay was a nice quite surprise. Pleasant neighbors from Canada and long timers that filled us in on fun things to do. Amy and Marge, in the office, was friendly and professional. And the grass was well kept. The laundry and Shower facilities were very clean. We are looking forward to going back to Birch Bay and will definitely plan on staying at The Lighthouse by The Bay again.
Our initial first stop in our RV on the Island wasn’t great so we booked at Lighthouse RV for a night and moved on. The site is fantastic!! The views over Fanny Bay are incredible, the site is quiet, perfectly located and the washrooms are the best. Private, clean, and recently decorated. Matt is an amazing host and is working hard on constant improvements he is also super cute!. He even offered to pick us up at our friends place after a dinner. We will definitely stay here again and it is a gem in Island RV parks. Matt is a star and the site is very well managed and your literally on the water. Superb!
The spaces are pretty big, they have full hookups, free WiFi, a great small laundry and my satellite antenna had great reception. It costs around $30 a night - less than similar parks in the area. Birch Bay and the shoreline are just down the road from the park. Blaine is about 10 minutes away by car. We would stay here if we return.
