My husband and myself went to this store this afternoon. I had a $500 gift certificate to put toward a piece of furniture. We got there on Saturday 03/27/21 at 4.40. Store closes at 6pm. We parked in the parking lot at the back of the store and tried to open the store door. It was locked. We peeked through and noticed an elderly man leaning back behind his desk so he wouldn’t be noticed. We walked around to the front of the store and the door to the store was unlocked. We walked in to a very cold and inhospitable man who just barked at us that he had to to lock up the store. I was taken aback there was no hello or welcome or sorry I apologise I have to close up. I said “Do you want us to leave’ and he plainly and rudely said yes.... so we left. Absolutely rude man/customer service. I’m happy to throw this gift voucher away... I refuse to step into this store ever again. We have just built a $2million property and wanted to buy furniture for our home from this store.... no way, not anymore... please don’t waste your money on a store that doesn’t offer quality customer service for high end furniture purchasers! Absolutely disgusting despicable man! You really are a let down to this store and to Dallas!
One could definitely say it was a colourful experience and one that I don't care to repeat. Between an employee being hungover, the wrong table I was supposed to receive the taller Bobine table being ordered, calling the Dallas location at least 6 times and not having the calls returned, the list goes on. Needless to say, I have been asked about my experience by others curious about this store to update furniture for their business and have admonished to not bother. The table offered and settled upon is a floor model that is very scratched both the base and the white lacquered glass, somewhat wobbly at the base. Adam at the Dallas store said the table tops were interchangeable and the movers could do it...Movers aren't exactly ones to have a hex or allen wrench on hand and I don't have those items..If photos are needed, I'm happy to share. Why wasn't the floor model offered until a new one could be sent? Isn't that a normal practice? It seems very apparent that any sort of help or offer to some sort of solution was passed to the next supposed clerk under the employ of the company, some of which, no longer work there.. I just felt juggled and that my purchase didn't matter..because it's just a table--one item. So in that event, I'm stuck with a scratched up $1,300+ thing that I sit at occasionally. Mercí!
DO NOT BUY FURNITURE AT LIGNE ROSET!!!! after waiting 6 months for furniture that was due in 3 months, they sent the wrong furniture! now we are fighting with them to get all the money returned... they never return messages and lie every time.
if I could give a zero I would. Great, quality furniture...but you can order it from a different location, and should.
The product line stands for itself. The in-store showroom service could definitely be improved to be more helpful.
