B and B Consignment

OMG! If I don't have it today, I will tomorrow. Beautiful vignettes of fabulous furniture and accessories at reasonable prices. Sharla is an absolute goddess. I bought 3 pcs. of Baker Furniture for a song here. My sister bought her ab fab dining table and the coolest credenza from Peru at B & B. Wonderful artwork, l'objet d'arte, mirrors, lighting in addition to the fine furniture in a spacious showroom. Great parking. Helpful designers / sales. I live this place.

Beautiful furniture, but a little out of my price range. Enjoyed getting to look and touch the fancy stuff!

Lady was friendly but should just let customers shop on their own instead of trying to sell to them. Prices were way too high in my opinion.

The business is super friendly and helpful. They're not overbearing where you can't shop in peace, but when you have questions they're there to help. The shop also has some really cool pieces and they make homemade toffee in the back that tastes like heaven. To top it all off, they play really nice music and make everybody feel cared for. I was moving to London, so decided to consign over 80 items of my household goods to this store. .The total price for all these items marked by the store at their sole discretion were approximately $14, 000. After selling 40 items, I was told that my share would be approximately 11percent of the total initial marked up prices for the 80 items or approximately 30% of the initial marked up prices for the sold items by the store. I was told the remaining items will be disposed. Surprisingly, "Not a single item was sold at the initial price set by the store." The store plan to "Dispose the rest of the unsold items". At last after some back and forth calls from overseas, I managed to move the remaining items. It is hard for me to judge the characters of the individuals involved, but the numbers don't lie-"not a single item sold at the initial listed price by the very experienced store owner". After reading some of the reviews for this store, I decided to post my review as I noticed a pattern of behavior that showed my experience was not unique on "Regretting to trust and deal with this store"- I leave this review simply to protect the potential future customers. However, If you have to consign with this store, I would recommend the following: 1- Read the fully termed contract vs. the one pager given to you and ensure that you have it in writing that your items could not be sold at any price or "Disposed" at the sole discretion of the store without your written consent. 2. In comparing your other options to sell, don't believe the 50% figure you are told. 3- Make sure to arrange for removal of your items at the end of your contract to remove any incentives for the "no sale disposal". 4- Ask for the copies of checks of all items sold to ensure you get your Fair Share. Hope you have a better experience in the future...

This is my all time favorite place to shop! I’ve purchased rugs, artwork, home accessories, and beautiful furniture here as I’ve been redecorating my home. It’s the absolute best place to find quality items that other people won’t have for a fraction of the cost you’d pay in a store. Elizabeth has helped me choose colors and styles that compliment my home. I’ve also sold my own items through B & B, and have been 100% satisfied with the service!

We were surprised by the selection this place has. Everything is reasonably priced and in good condition. We bought a leather sofa from them a few years ago and kitchen table today. Highly recommend! The only downside is that Barkley the dog doesn’t work on Saturday!

Awesome place with some cool furniture and accessories at reasonable prices! I go at least once a week!! And customer service is out of this world!! Great people! I just cannot say enough good things about this store and their selections. They have everything you are looking for. You have to go visit them today!!

I bought an antique dresser and as I was moving it out of the shop it literally fell apart because the tongue and grove glue was bad I had fiddled with the drawers and everything before purchase and they worked fine but I hadn’t practiced moving it because that’s kind of silly. They said all sales were final but I could do in store credit so I ended up having to buy a dresser I didn’t really want for an extra $70 or I’d loose all my money. Super sweet family but that’s absolutely no way to do business.
