David Toppi, DMD, trained at Miami Children's Hospital and received his specialty degree in pediatric dentistry at Nova Southeastern University. Russell J. Toppi, DMD, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst before attending Tufts University School of Dentistry, earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1992. Dr. Toppi is one of the few San Diego orthodontists certified and trained to place “Inside Braces.” These alternatives to traditional metal braces are placed on the inner surface of the teeth, making them virtually unnoticeable.
