Its just not organized and they have the business set up as if people are always local and can just run up there and signed documents. When my mother passed we had to go up there multiple times and just when you thought everything was taken care of I would call the Life Insurance company and they would inform us that they dont have the appropriate documents with the right signatures. Its unfortunate because a funeral is an emotional time and you want to place your loved ones with those that have passed away so you would think they would take time to do a better job with organization. I certainly would not recommend this cemetery.
Latonya Long A Super Employee whom I want to recommend to ALL who want to experience, the best Customer Service, and knowledge about your burial needs‼ she will Help you get the most for your Love Ones. I highly recommend that you ask for her, for any questions, or Concerns. Especially on this Occasion concerning your care or others. Presently they have a Great Package for purchase, that she can break down for you. Love to All.
1st!!!I signed a $1200 Headstone Contract. The Headstone is Not available And is no longer $1200. They canceled the Contract and WILL NOT give me my money back. The 3rd page is the Office of Board of Cemetery and Senior Hotline. 2nd!!! Lincoln Cemetery Staffs are very unprofessional. They Scene and run game. They have lied and lied to me for 3 years, smh. Now I'm in the process of getting help from the Attorney General Office and Board of Cemetery. NEED HELP:: CALL THE OFFICE ABOVE Lincoln is a Cemetery for ANIMALS, NOT PPL If you need a Headstone, try using a Professional Business such as ATLANTA MONUMENT IN FOREST PARK GEORGIA. A+ ALL THE WAY I WILL BE IN COURT ON WEDNESDAY AT 9:00, MAY 11, 2022. DOWNTOWN ON PRYOR ST. FYI The New pictures below are recent. Missing Headstone, etc. Please check on your Loveones.
My father passed in January 2021 and still does not have his head stone we paid for. They told us it takes 6 weeks after the funeral, THEN told us they meant 6 weeks after we finish our payments?. Our last payment was in August 2021 and of course now in 2022, it’s still not there. UPDATE! It’s 2023 and it’s still not there! UPDATE 2! After his birthday: We checked on his birthday and it’s still not there!!
I came in to say that I did not want to do the contract anymore for my dad and so that I can get my money back. I spoke with Sandra Johnson and she stated that they will need something from my dad or he needs to come into the office. I explained to them that my dad can not come into the office he is weak and has moved to another county since they last saw us. My sister spoke with Cassandra Ward who is in charge of the accounts. My sister put my dad on the phone and notified her that my dad is listening then she said that when your dad is better then he can call me back. Cassandra was very rude with my sister and does not have any type of customer service skills or any heart for people who are dying.
Bait and Switch! Beware. I went to the cemetery days before my mother's passing to complete execution of a contract for a plot she appeared to have purchased on a plan 8 years ago. Upon doing research it showed that she did not complete the purchase. Ok, let's look at other plots. I located one in the Garden of Honor and paid for the plot in full. Outstanding costs were to be the vault and payment for opening and closing as well as a monument. The next day I received a call from the sales person Donnie Richardson indicating that the "front" office would not accept the contract that he drew up, I signed and accepted by paying for the plot without me today buying a monument or a vault in addition to the $1800 that I already paid for the plot. Say what? I was told if I didn't pay the additional money, they would refund my money. I questioned why I would pay upwards of $3000 for a monument when I can purchase one for less money elsewhere or why do I need to purchase a vault now when my mom is passing away soon? Only response given, was "the front office won't accept the contract unless you buy a monument or a vault today. " Well, I refuse to be pressured into buying anything. This isn't the only cemetery in Atlanta. You need to do better with your customer service. You should be ashamed of trying to take advantage of our community during their time of need. I will be telling everyone I know about this experience and reporting you to the state.
I would like to say Lincoln Cemetary does not care about grief stricken families or the grounds where remains of deceased loved ones final resting place. Do not! i repeat use this funeral home for your funeral and especially burial needs! My family has suffered for over one year of not having a headstone that was fully paid for in cash April 2021. It’s really sad to be told headstone would initially be installed in 12-14 weeks and now almost a year later absolutely “NO HEADSTONE”nor any clear communication as to when headstone will be installed. The family has been told the “delay “ is due to covid, “it’s out of their ”LINCOLN’S “hands because one of the main granite company ColdSprings is overseas! This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional . Lincoln Cemetary should have several vendors to provide granite and not have the family enduring additional stress. Again consumers “be ware “if you purchase headstone from Lincoln you will be very disappointed! nor receive outstanding customer service. It’s very disappointing and sad, everyone that works for Lincoln or any other cemeteries associated with Lincoln should be fired and owner should no longer own this very unorganized & unprofessional business! Also, the cemeteries are unkept! The grass & weeds are knee high during the spring & summer! The grass is never freshly cut or edged!!!! You will pretty much climb through a forest or jungle to see loved ones grave!! The grass around “flat markers” covers deceased loved ones names which make it difficult to find if it’s the first time visiting cemetary!! Another slap in the face of the black community! What a complete shame & disgrace to deceased love-ones families!
Ok first and foremost. LETS ME SAY THE LADY MR FROST HAS Helping him well that what she say.. Miss D BANKS is the worst he need to get her out. She is going to run ur customer away. Headstone are never order on time. No call back are fake like she not there when you call her back Customer service skills or the worst. I have been up there five time about my issue. Each time she is to busy playing school with her child at work instead of handle my problem. What is going on I have been a customer for years for min. Mr jack frost get Miss BANKS far away from your business as you can.
Lincoln Cemetery is so beautiful, serene and well maintained. I was just there in June 2020 for a family member's burial. The lady at the front office was professional, and gave me the exact information that I needed to get around on the grounds there.
After giving their condolences and explaining the cost of a burial. I felt as if I was rushed to sign paperwork for the loss of my loved one.
