I've been getting my blood work at the lab in Lincoln Hospital for several years now, and I just wanted to let you know what an excellent staff you have! Trish, Stanley, and everyone are simply wonderful! Not only are they experienced and good at what they do, they have great bedside manners. They take good care of their patients. Thanks to the staff, it's a pleasure to go to the lab! Thank you!
My husband and I have both been to the Lincoln Hospital ER, to the lab many times and to the radiology department. Everyone there has been friendly, helpful, patient and most of all knowledgeable. They try to get you through the process quickly and are always willing to answer questions. We are fortunate to have such a fine facility in Lincoln County.
My recent experience with Dr. Dunlap and his surgical team was excellent! I had carpal tunnel surgery, and from my initial pre-op appointment to the surgery itself to today's suture removal, I could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone was friendly and professional, which helped me feel all the more confident and comfortable. It was so convenient to have everything done so close to home. Thank you to Lincoln Hospital, Dr. Dunlap, and the entire surgical team!
This hospital needs to be sued! My father came in with a uti. He ended up getting another infection and going into sepsis. As soon as you begin to ask the nurses, social worker, and speech therapist questions about the condition and the care that they are going to provide, it begins to create problems for the staff to the point where they begin to threaten with calling the police!! If you want nurses that lack knowledge and neglect their patients this is the place to be! My advice, go to any hospital in Spokane and if you can't go into the city, Coulee City Medical Center is filled with caring and knowledgeable nurses and doctors, they will go above and beyond!
I am certain that you won't find another hospital in this country employing more ill mannered nurses than Lincoln County Hospital. Whether you're the patient or a loved one of the patient don't expect much from this hospital staff especially the nurses and especially if you're a loved one. The only thing I can figure is that these nurses absolutely hate their jobs. How else could they collectively share the same bad attitudes and manners? I had to actually ask myself if I was the one out of line by anticipating some sort of friendly, or at least polite customer service. I don't think I'm out of line, they are just that horrible. I can only imagine what it would be like to deal with some sort of tragedy at this hospital, yikes! My grandpa has been stuck at this hospital for several months now. It has been nothing but problems since the day he arrived and the hospital failed to notify me his POA on file at the hospital with my contact info that he had been admitted after a stroke. I found out he was there 6 days later after going to the sheriff's station because I couldn't find him. They treat me like I have no rights as his power of attorney. Its like pulling teeth to get any kind of update regarding his condition. The entire hospital staff has been so horrible to interact with it's becoming difficult to want to go visit, even though I'd like to be there regularly. They're that bad. A little bit of advice.... If it's not life or death, drive a little further to the city. You will be much better off.
Had to bring my husband into the ED recently and had a very good experience. He recieved excellent care in a very timely manner and we were particularly grateful to Dr. Panke as well as the other ED staff for their effective and capable teamwork. The hospital is very clean and has a pleasant family waiting room as well.
If I could rate zero I would. My uncle was in ER and was totally disrespected. Lord knows what else was said when they made my daughter wait outside. He was there a few days ago. He is 87 and has covid. He asked to be seen again. When my daughter brought him in the ER nurse says “ugh, again, back already” . Where is your compassion ? Did you not sign a code of ethics? At least be tactful and not say such rude comments I nears shot way of people who can hear.I will be filing a formal complaint. Drive to Spokane or coulee dam.
Horrible horrible experience. A loved one was so negligently cared for they could've died. The staff told us that "we needed to get over it and understand people die". After our family member was transferred to another hospital, they started to recover and are not anywhere near death. I have never encountered such callous and incompetent health care.
THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME! I was shocked to see 2.5* rating. They are always, ALWAYS talkative and nice, some doctors and nurses all the ones I've ever seen tries to joke and make the entire waiting and experience in their facility something you don't feel agony being around every 5 seconds. They are all hard working, caring people that try to make everyone's day a little easier, even though their own lives are probably chaotic and crazier than most people could imagine.
This hospital doesn't even deserve one star, if they had a negative star then it would be a negative 5 stars! Took my husband to the ER with a severe psychotic breakdown and the person that interviewed him could clearly see that he had something wrong with him but stated that if he's not a harm to himself or others then they can't keep him and sent him home with instructions to drink warm milk! The next day he had a total psychotic breakdown and hit me, his wife, and our daughter and was arrested and the next two months was in and out of the jail, hospital and back to jail. He was diagnosed with bipolar 1. If this hospital would have kept him and treated him then this whole nightmare would have not happened!
