I have been shopping at Little Bird Nesting Company for about 2 years now. It is a great place to find just about any essentials for your baby that are good quality and usually in good condition. It has been nice to have this option of shopping for baby items at a cheaper price locally. However, I am not thrilled with their trade system. You have to schedule an appointment for a trade if you have 40 or more items I believe it's 40. I get why they do this, however the down side is you leave your stuff with them and you have no idea what they take unless you keep your own inventory and more importantly why they did not take some of your items. If you're someone who would prefer to have these details AND you have the time, I'd suggest you only bring in 40 items at a time so you can get more feedback. I wish I would have thought of this before I have already traded most of my baby stuff I no longer need. Also, another downside to trading is the staff in this department come across as rude and like you are bothering them. They are not approachable at all. Despite the fact that you schedule an appointment, they don't help you bring in your items or even greet you. Last time I dropped off items, an employee was sitting right in front of the door as I was trying to load my items into their store and she did not offer to move or help me. It is very poor customer service, because the people that are bringing trade items in are essentially providing them with their stock to sell. Either way, it's not a good way to run a business. I do share this with people who ask me for suggestions.
Staff was rude. They told me that they only had trade and no cash till the next day, so I asked if they could just take a look to see if anything would be worth anything so I wouldn't have to make a second trip if I didn't haft to.trying to save on gas. They said no cause it would be double work. But the way it was said made me feel like a POS ! Like I was a bother. I understand people get busy but it would of took what a whole two minutes if that.
I always love coming here from out of town we don't have a kids clothing store in Sierra Vista, So I really ENJOY coming here as much as I can when am in Town ! One of the Best Stores ever you will never leave empty handed , there clothes are very decent yet used all kinds of Brands and different things to buy , they also do trade and it's great they give good value and store credit in return . I highly recommend coming here . Baby's and kids grow to fast and there products they have and clothing is great
The hours and the particulars are not user-friendly. I have to carve time out of my day to come during their business hours and then they have a stipulation that they only take five items for trade after 3 PM. I have to do business here. they're the only game in town that does what they do as well as they do it. so I'm still gonna come here but it's not very user-friendly. They have a loyalty program but it doesn't save your purchase history so you still have to keep the paper receipt... they only do exchanges... just little irritants about how the business is ran. Again, not very user-friendly.
I went here 3 months ago for the first time and I was shocked at the lack of customer service. Such a nice place for such bad customer service. The ladies in the back were so rude and being new I didn’t feel welcome. They keep sending me emails for discounts but I have no intentions of ever returning.
I've been going here for years and it just keeps getting better. They stick to their policies and so the items they sell are good quality. The selection of clothes, toys and shoes changes often but I can usually find what I'm looking for.
If I'm being honest, I'm a bit obsessed with kids consignment stores. I love to dress my baby in the boujee brands, but on a budget that makes sense - babies seem to only wear an item once or twice before they're on to the next size. : Little Bird Nesting Company is, hands down, my favorite store to visit when looking for new goodies for my girl. We've bought some fabulous brands there - RAGS, Jamie Kay, Rylee & Cru, Goumi, etc - for very affordable prices. The items there are always in great condition, too. I'll be sad when we move from the area & I can't visit the store anymore!
Most of there items are really worn out. They wanted a pair of pajamas for $10 and I can find three pairs of pajamas for $25 brand new. I feel like this place shows favoritism to certain customers and they give them high quality clothes for less while the rest of the customers get the leftovers no one wants. They need to work on their pricing and try to treat all of their customers equally including the new ones.
This is a great place to buy gently used clothes, toys, and baby items. The people at the trade counter were very nice, however they do offer very low for items. I will continue to buy from them, but I wouldn’t trade here.
I'm not really sure who all of these supposed rude employees are.... I've been here many times and any time I ask for help finding something, everyone has been very nice and helpful. I would point out that whoever takes in the clothing, maybe should put the clothing pieces with stains in the $.99 bin instead of on a hanger for $3.99. Maybe they missed that one? Not sure, but I know I'm not the only one that doesn't want to pay more for something that's not quite "new" looking. Other than that, I really like going here to find clothes for my kids. I save a ton of money every time I do!
