I always love the chips and salsa here. The smooth salsa is incredible and pretty spicy, but it’s so good that you don’t want to stop eating it. Today's pick was chicken fajitas. I just love the smell of the sizzling plate when it hits the table. Service is good too! This is a pretty big place, with a bar on one side where you can watch the game or something on TV. The other side of the restaurant gives you a great view of Soquel Creek while you dine.
The food is excellent. The staff is friendly. The owner even came and greeted us and chatted with us briefly. The location is beautifully located next to a creek. Even my picky kids enjoyed their lunch. Just wonderful. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: There are a number of items on the menu that are vegetarian. Cheese enchilada, bean burrito, etc. They also don't use lard in the beans like most places do. Dietary restrictions: They serve halal beef and chicken upon request. Kid-friendliness: They have a good kids menu.
I love Little Tampico. Their chicken enchilada is always so fresh, all white meat, simply yummy. Served with rice and beans, this comfort food is always enough for two meals for me. Great salsa, great service.Food: 5/5
Nice location. Server was great. Food was okay. Maybe it was what I ordered. Fajita tostada. More of a salad on top of a flat shell. Enchiladas were good.Food: 4/5
We're vegetarians and we loved this place! From the salsa to the tostadas to the enchilada verde,to the uniquely flavored refried beans we couldn't stop declaring its deliciousness. And they don't cook with lard, so very vegetarian-friendly. Great food and great sized portions-- we were so happy to have a new go-to place for fine Mexican food!
Customer service: Very good. Friendly and attentive! Menu: Great options plus vegan and vegetarian choices. No matter what you like, there is poetically something here for you. Bar/alcohol: Good, strong and well priced margaritas. Good selections of tequila. And basic beers. Food: Pretty good. My vegan tacos were delicious and I got black beans instead of refried so I was happy with it. My dairy eating friends had slight complaints about it being too cheesy, but still delicious. The biggest problem was that the guacamole was bland and plain. We had to poor a tone of salt and there was nothing in it. No lime, cilantro, tomatoes etc. Just avocado mashed up.... very disappointing. Would still go there, but don't get the guac!
Really enjoy this place. Julio'd burrito has the right combination of everything including spicy jalapeños. The dip they give you when you first get seated is delicious as well! Definitely recommend if you like good Mexican food!Food: 5/5
They have good chips and salsa, always a must for Mexican dining. I pretty much always get the chicken enchiladas Verde . The rice and beans are very good and a generous portion The decor needs updating for sure.Food: 5/5
This Mexican restaurant has been a family favorite for over 25 years. The food is wonderful and service is outstanding. They have an excellent bar and the ambiance is comfortable and pleasing. You can't go wrong. Everything is great from the two different salsas and chips to their wide variety of menu items. Don't forget the mud pie on a hot day; it's wonderful
Nice spot serving drinks and standard Tex Mex food. Everything we ordered was tasty. Chips and salsa come for free.Food: 5/5
