I enjoy walking and jogging the hills here great for bird watching walking horseshoe pit volleyball net picnic tables baseball field and even soccer goal posts.
We were looking for a good park to play tennis in Tulare and we found this park. It has a lot of parking spaces and the play grounds are in the middle of the park far away from the main street. The tennis courts are well-taken care of and the park is in a nice condition. The restroom is in the middle of the park so you don't have to walk a lot in case you need to use them. I recommend this park to anybody that has little kids
Let's see where do I begin. It's almost always certain you will not use the restrooms. The benches are filthy and old paint is either marked or chipped. The BBQ 'grill' has not been cleaned since opening day. And good luck finding water, unless you want to swim with the swamp flies. This park is no bueno. I paid 80$ for reservations will not do again.
It's a great park for the family to go adult get there time to talk and enjoy each other's time and this kiddos get to run around and play. The only problem is that there is so many tagging on the playground with horrible words that kids should not be reading or trying to read! I'd give higher star rating if it wasn't for that because it seems like park employees or city employees don't seem to bothered by the tagging of such horrible words!!
Nice enough but the playground has been closed for awhile now so really nothing to do here.
It was fun my kids had fun running up and down the hills and playing on the turtle
One of the 2 nice parks in tulare. Right next to the Santa fe trail walk and bike path. Nice shaded area and well kept park area for the kiddos. Lots of shade around the trail so you aren't walking in straight sun. Beware though, sometimes I walk the dogs over there in the mornings around 8-10am there are still homeless sleeping on the benches and hanging around, usually by mid-day they've already scattered.
Good place to play tennis.
Tennis courts, and walking trails good place for exercise.
Wish it could be restored back to the way it was when I was a kid.
