Great dog park in the South Bay! We did a meet up with a group of ladies and our pups and had a great time! I also love that it’s mulch and not dirt so the dogs stay clean.
Visited for the 2018 Manhattan Beach Grand Prix. This is one of the oldest bicycle races in the country. Great racing in all classes. Bring the kids as there are bicycle races for them as well. On the infield the are food vendors with excellent fare.
Two Live Oak Parks are available and accessible on the same street. The larger park is equipped for youth to teen and the smaller park is equipped for tots. Look for the separate, smaller "Tot Park" closer to tennis courts and check-in office for same. Basketball courts available also. Restrooms available for those enjoying both parks. Limited street parking available.
cool little park, some tennis courts, 1 full court basketball court and 1 mid size, and id say 1 kid size one as well. opens after 8am,
2 playgrounds: smaller enclosed area for the tots 0-5 by the tennis courts, larger apparatus for the bigger kids by the diamond. 2 mins walk between them
60th Anual Race MBGP!
This park is simply wonderful! Full on toddler and baby friendly. It's mostly empty and my kids always get the opportunity to play in all the games on the playground. Once my kids get too big for this playground, it'll definitely break my heart because this is one of my favorites?
Nice place for all ages. Came for toddler for multiple featured items fenced in play area. They have older kids area on other side with tennis, basketball and baseball diamonds. Place is well kept and a pleasure to go to. Parking was fine today but people park here on weekends and head for the beaches half mile away. Has a few picnic tables and uses the newer rubber matting around the sand box and swings They do have some raised fire boxes.
Mainly come here to okay tennis, there are 6 courts, but you have to pay to reserve them. The restrooms are nice and there's also a playground along with basketball courts. The only downside is court 6, which is blocked off for when watching games.
This park little but a charm. The location is on a curve ending next to tennis courts. There is a small childrens playground and basket ball courts behind baseball field. Very active area. Picnic tables too. The park is horizontal it runs north to south on Valley Drive in Manhattan Beach just google the Manhattan Beach Post Office it right next to that.
