Court staff was nice & polite however justice will never prevail at this court judge is bias & despite me swearing that I did not run a red light she still sided with the officer without proof without the officer having to present footage or anything. It was civilian vs officer & the judge already decided or maybe it was the fact that I’m black idk but it was less than fair & a classroom of kindergartners would have been better judge than the bias one here. Judge couldn’t even make eye contact after judgement she knew she was wrong.

Don’t even waste your time, just pay the ticket. The judge is rude, she takes off the point but ups the ticket to $180 and gives you 30 days at most to pay it. You won’t be heard at all. Worse court ever.

To get someone on the phone regarding a minor traffic ticket you pretty much have to dial any extension and get lucky until someone answers the phone, oh and the killer part is when someone finally answers you’re call but you’re still at a dead end because there’s no help at all they just transfer your call to a ghost so they kinda force u drive there rather than simply paying something or talking to someone over the phone

The clerk, Debbie I believe she said her name was, was incredibly rude and condescending. She scheduled me for an appt and lied to me about the day. I called back actually because I needed to reschedule it and she told me it was not put down for the day she told me originally. TERRIBLE person and there's no accountability. If I spoke to people in my career like this I would be fired instantly as would almost anyone. The court needs to hire people who are not an embarrassment to the city, although I doubt they care about that because as a city worker apparently they can do whatever they want and still have a job. It's not like they'll lose business with you going to a competitor, so they treat everyone horribly.

I personally feel like a lot of these reviews are people who don't want to take responsibility for their actions. I got pulled over on 275, going quite fast. The officer was very polite. I knew i was going really fast. He took my driving record into account and gave me a much lesser fine. I thanked him, he moved some things on the road to make way for me and I left. I had to call to get information and the woman I talked to Beth was very polite and gave me all the information plus more. Very pleasant experience. Bottom line: I shouldn't have been speeding. They were all doing their jobs. Hopefully I don't get pulled over again though ; gotta slow down

I can't even begin to describe how terrible of an experience I had here. I had an informal hearing to negotiate a speeding ticket where I got caught in a speeding trap in a "residential area." The officer claims it was residential but I was not in a neighborhood, it was a regular road where the speed limit is usually 40 but changed to 30 and I happened to not see the change as I was looking for a business. I was not offered a pre-hearing mediation and the officer did not offer to discuss this before the hearing. When I tried to speak for myself at the hearing, the magistrate shut me down and insulted me as if I was the worst criminal she's ever seen. You would think someone with such a position of respect would be willing to listen to and consider the defendant's explanation instead of letting their own prejudice and emotions take over their mind. I am still in shock from being treated so cruelly. I saw that the magistrate was clearly discriminatory because as soon as I walked up to the podium her outward attitude quickly changed she became very outwardly irritated and her voice started to sound extremely annoyed. This is the first time in my life I have been publicly berated and shut down without given a chance to make amends. Writing this review will not take back the humiliation I endured at this court but it is the only thing I can do now because I was not given a chance to explain my actions. Hopefully anyone else who was treated with blatant injustice from this magistrate will take some comfort knowing they are not the only one being misused by the justice system at this court.

Was called in for jury duty during covid 19. I chose not to get a medical exemption because I believed the court would take steps to protect its occupants. Unfortunately the court did not fulfill their obligation to provide a safe environment in any way. Both forcing jurors into a small space with zero ability to socially distance, and completely ignoring those who pulled their masks down, further endangering anyone around. I strongly recommend, if you are at risk, or even just if you want to stay safe and socially distance, that you attempt to get an exemption. The court WILL NOT provide a safe environment for you.

I am on probation for a reason, I understand this. You guys have worked with me throughout the process and I am grateful for your understanding. However, I’m trying to avoid a violation and have been waiting on a call back from a month ago and a week ago. Please contact me!!!!

I went to the court to ask a question and I was treated rude. The guy was so angry at me and it wasn't for any reason. Judge mccann court officer told me he would find me on the road and beat me up. Nice way to handle a citizen right. I looked on pro-life site on candidate survey they ask judge kathleen j mccann her position on stopping partial birth abortion and she answered no response two election straight. How could you elect a judge who would not favor stopping this partial birth abortion. She may run for senate one day and not be pro-life.

Rudest clerk EVER! Called 3 days consecutively trying to pay a ticket over the phone, they never answered. Called a minute after to schedule court case just so I can pay a freakin ticket, she finally answered in the most rude way possible. If you hate your job, than quit.
