Marni & Mandy are the best camp hosts! Very welcoming, very knowledgeable of trails in the area, gave great recommendations based on ability level. Park is clean, quiet, small. Great location between the two NPs. Flush toilets, soap/sink, water fill, fire rings, large bear boxes.
Quiet, small campground. Clean facilities, friendly staff, and cute campsite. A lot of sights seemed to have good privacy. Would love to stay here again!
Lovely small campground in Grand Teton NP. Level tent sites even for our large 10x17 tent. Fire ring and table at each site. Flushing toilets, no showers, but Colter Bay down the road a bit does have showers. Potable water spigots conveniently located around campground. Sites 28-32 have some of the best lakeviews IF the lake is full. In mid-Aug, the lake was drained very low, so we had a grassy view and no lake access. Firewood and ice available for sale.
Lizard Creek is an amazing campground! Not only was the campgroud beautiful but the camp host was so wonderful. She was so helpful in optaining us a camp site after the floods in Yellowstone park. We had a great time at the Grand Tetons!
We stayed at a walk in campsite it was secluded and clean. Great experience. Very friendly camp hosts. I would recommend staying at this location.
Marni and her partner who were the camp hosts were AMAZING. The campsites and restrooms were immaculate. We WILL return to Lizard Creek Campground!
Great campground, good location for exploring both the Tetons and Yellowstone. There are public bathrooms located every so often around the campground so you'll always be somewhat near one although only one stall in each. Nice sized spot and we had an excellent view of the lake at spot #30! Had an awesome conversation with one of the hosts as well, really nice guy.
Fairly well kept campsite right against the would be shoreline of Jackson Lake! The lake is pretty dried up due to the drought, but still a sight to see! Sunsets at the shore are worth it! Fire pits with grill grates and bear safes are provided at each campsite, with tons of room for storage of food, coolers, and small gear. Only recommendation is bring bug spray if you’re worried about ants or some mosquitoes at night! It gets cold at night so pack warm options!
Check on Teton Lake water levels before you sign up. We hoped to put the kayak in at the campground but the water was a mile away through restricted mudbog land. Nice quite campground.
Quiet location, small, and effective. Would be happy to stay again. Even without hookups, an RV stay is lovely given the location. Fire pits are great and we were fortunate to have a wet year that allowed open burns.Location: 5/5
