We stayed two nights. The hosts of the campground have done an excellent job of keeping the lots cleaned, the table and chairs were a welcome sight. The bathrooms, laundry and TV room were clean and spacious. We ordered a pizza when we got there and a breakfast pizza before we left. Both were excellent. I would recommend this RV park to anyone. And being on Route 66 made it a very special place for both of us.
Next to one of the loudest, busiest, train tracks I've ever encountered. Got zero sleep! Between midnight & 4 am trains blew by every 15 min. Sewer hook up also located at the front of my rig rather than the back. Impossible to connect to. My first time staying here. Will absolutely be my last!Rooms: 1/5
Older campground but well maintained. Bathrooms are clean and functional. The trailer dump was easy to use. There is a train that runs by the campground but it didn't wake us at night. Lots of trees and plenty of shade. It was a nice place to take a walk in the evening. Friendly, helpful staff. They provide 5G internet and allow streaming.
A good sight for smaller campers. Not big rig friendly. Our 43 ft pulling a truck didn’t fit and we had to separate our truck from the coach before we could park. Our slides when extended we’re in the next campers space. The typical amenities were good pool, WiFi and well shaded. Lots of railroad activity and horn blowing.Service: 3/5
Great campground! Sits amongst the trees and is very peaceful. All the staff here are very kind and courteous and very helpful. The campsites are gravel and have a cement patio with table and chairs and a fire pit. Some even have wooden swings to sit on. The WiFi was excellent! There was a small tower just to the back of our site. I saw three dog parks even though we didn’t use them. We did not use the shower house for showers but was in there once and it was very clean. There are activities all around the campground to entertain your kids/grandkids. The campground is near a railroad track and you do hear trains go by. Additionally, it is close to the airport. I would not hinder this from staying here. For these RV newbies, we a great experience! The cinnamon sugar donuts were great!
Not a good place to tent camp. While the campground itself is clean and tidy, the location is horrible for tents. There is a train that comes right by the camp frequently - 3 to 4 times per hour, horns blaring. Also on the flight path of the airport. Additionally, they've set the primitive sites between two dog runs, and you are right up against a residential neighborhood. You're basically setting up your tent at the back of someone's backyard fence. Will not be choosing this KOA again. Also, had trouble booking over phone even though we stayed at another KOA two days before. I went online and booked, and the price was $5 less?! Overall, definitely not the good experience we've had with other KOA locations.
They have a good overall experience. With a nice pool, nice bathrooms The ice was ridiculous, $2.50 for 5 lbs. The spots were small. They're close to the train track, so if you need to hear/feel the trains to sleep, this is your place. If airport noise is your thing, this place is under where the jets come in to land, so they have that too!
Loved this RV park and the nice big, level and shaded site. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downfalls, that cannot be helped, was the mosquitos. And the airplanes/trains. But overall a great stay and will be back when we're in the area.Rooms: 5/5
The Best KOA that we have been to yet. The staff are friendly and hospitable. Their store include many things including souvenirs. Pizza, chicken wings and bites were a wonderful addition, and deliverable to one's site. We have nothing but good to say about this KOA. There's a swimming pool where staff and campers can mingle, and a lounge with games and TV. We could go on and on about this great KOA. You won't be disappointed.
Our second stay at this KOA and we definitely recommend and would stay again in the future. Courteous, helpful and friendly staff. Nice spaces. Added bonus of being able to get fresh, yummy pizza delivered from the front office after a long day of travel! Service: 5/5
