It's not very large but it's worth looking through to see the different kinds of art displayed. I personally like scenic art with nature in it but they have all kinds of art.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$1–5
This beautiful Fine Arts Museum is located in the downtown district in Longview Texas. I visited it my Leadersip Longview Class and we were treated to a wonderful tour filled with exquisite artwork. I highly recommend planning a visit or even becoming a member of the Arts and support this beautiful community and it’s artist!
Small, but nice collection of Texas artists including Hohnstedt, Dozier, Ward and others. The Bloom exhibition was also good. Definitely worth a visit.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$1–5
We took our girls troop here for the art merit badge. It was alot bigger than I expected. The staff was very helpful! The art was great, and it was nice to see local student artist.
The art collection is obviously smaller than the DMA or Kimbell, if one wanted to make comparisons. I found the museum charming and the works on display very interesting. There is also an exhibition "The American West", on display until September 25. It gives a great insight into Cowboy and Western paintings and sculpture. The lady at the front is absolutely wonderful and sweet and so gracious! I cannot speak highly enough of her. I doubt I'll ever be in Longview again, and this made it even more memorable.
It's a small but nice museum. The high school display was amazing! I enjoyed my visit but it was over a lot sooner than I expected because it's a very small place.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$1–5

Who'd have thought a little art museum in Longview Texas would have a Rembrandt? But they do! This is a classy art museum, and an absolute must-see if you find yourself in Longview with a little time on your hands. The staff is friendly, the setting is tranquil, and the art will blow you away - if that's what you're into. Highly recommend.
