Very interesting, went to a mall after so long! It’s nicely organized with all the top brands. Great experience for my family, and kid loved the arcade. Christmas decoration made me feel All Cristmasy! 2021 Christmas time is busy, I went there on a weekend, and the place was very crowded. Nobody had their mask on, so little risky for sure. I started going there often, mostly because of the play area! I wish people started coming to mall again, this place could entertain some more people!
The parking lot is big. Different kinds of business inside the mall like hair cut, spa , eyebrow threading , fast food restaurants on the second floor, Applebee's Restaurant on the first floor & lot's of stores you can shop like Macy's, JCPenny , Old Navy, Victoria Secret, Maurices, Rue 21 , American Eagle & etc. Very clean and comfortable .
Best stores were journeys, hot topics, champs, and tilt studio. All the staff in all the stores my friend and I visited were really kind and welcoming. The staff in journeys and champs were the best and it felt like talking with a friend. The mall was not too busy but maybe that’s because we went early on a Friday. Either way very nice mall, very clean.
Unfortunately this place is dying. It's a former shell of what it used to be. We only come here now for the massage place on the top floor. This used to be packed all the time, now all you see is closed store fronts. I think it can be brought back, it will just need the right people to come in and give it new life.
Used to love going here as a teenager. Now thanks to Amazon, the mall just isn't the same. Stores here are overpriced, a lot of places closed down, and the food court only has like 3 or 4 places left, besides the Dino's Pizza located downstairs. There's friendly staff in some of the stores that are open, and I guess that makes going to the mall worth it.
Was very clean, but just like the galleria it’s pretty much empty and you gotta walk a long distance just to find an open store! HOWEVER, the BEST thing In that mall was the giant arcade! NOW THAT was awesome!
My hometown mall! I will always love this place! Definitely not the worst mall in Central PA actually one of the best and a place I will shop no matter how many stores exist!
There are so many stores here!! You can find just about anything here. They have a food court, shoe stores, toy store, Rue 21, Old Navy, Victoria Secret, Candy Store, Jewelry, JC Penny, parking garage, Spirit Halloween when it opens these are just a few of many stores.
Nothing like what it use to be. So many vacant lots. I remember when this use to be a social hotspot. I remember hanging out here as a teenager, shopping and eating. Now its a ghost town. They should take note from other malls across the country and fill some of those empty locations with attractions to get people in the door again. Johnstown is putting a roller rink in theirs. Altoona use to be home to the largest wooden floored rink in PA, and is full of old skaters. We could really teach the new generation a thing or two if we had that back, and the mall has more than enough space for it. And it would draw people to the mall again, give it a sense of life again.
I don't go often, but I LOVE having the chance to walk through the mall and shop! I really hope it doesn't close down like other malls due to online shopping. It takes me down memory lane
