Professors are nice and helpful. Students are a little antisocial think of it has highschool 2.0 but the college has really done a good job renovating the campus
The only professors I like are professor Crowe and professor Mooney. Professor kenemore no so much. Turned in 3 assignments that still have not been graded or even read and this is becoming a habit of hers. I put in the work and she’s not doing her job on her end. Maybe she needs to stop teaching so many classes if she can’t handle the work load
I think I will be trying a different community college. This being the first time I’m doing college you would think people would be happy to help you but they aren’t. John Denton made me leave crying last year when I tried to enroll due to me needing help with my fasfa he laughed at me when I asked him something and told me I wasn’t gonna get money that day which that’s not what I was asking I was asking what I needed to do on my end to help. He seemed annoyed to be there and irritated. Fast forward a year later I still haven’t enrolled and asked him if got the documents I sent him that he needed uploaded so I can get fasfa and nothing . He seems to not like what he does. For someone who Is just starting out in college it’s very discouraging. I won’t be going to this location or I’ll try a different school .
My son had difficulties in establishing his Texas residency status. We had made three trips to the admissions office but never resolved it. Apparently the fact that my son is a US citizen was overlooked. Thankfully after meeting Ms Flores we were able to resolve the issue in under 30 minutes. Ms Flores was very attentive and helped my son every step of the way. Thank you for the good customer service.
Great place to teach, learn and impact the community, state, country and the world. Honored to be teaching at Lonestar College since 1996 when it was North Harris Montgomery Community College District. Go Mavericks!!!!
Came out to be a judge in the annual SciTech gel electropreces competition for the local high schools had a great time as usual
This place doesn’t answer the phone, and when they do they don’t give you helpful information. Incoming freshman who don’t understand or need some help understanding how everything works, don’t attend here. They are no help and randomly drop you out of classes. When you call nobody answers and they don’t get back to you even when you mark it as urgent. Continuing on my review of this horrible college.. first few weeks of school and they don’t have working wifi or enough books for all of the students. Need to log into D2L while using campus wifi? Forget about it. Need a book for class during these first few weeks? Too bad. They don’t have any, and you will just have to wait until next week. I mean seriously? What are the students here paying for?
If I could I would give this college a zero. They have messed up so many things to do with financial aid and military benifits that I was depending on. Do not go here.
Had fun at our District 4-H Competition.
Great college! Very clean and organized. The staff are very helpful and willing to assist. Great positive environment!
