Have not visited a long johns in 20+ years. I got the chicken with Mac and cheese and to say it was delicious is an understatement. Tasted hot and fresh. Definitely reminded me of my childhood enjoyed it thoroughly.
Drove all the way here from Orange County because my autistic kiddo was having an incredibly bad day, and I wanted to splurge and get them a special treat of their comfort food. This is the only LJS that is open anywhere near us now days, since the one near Santa Ana closed. Was told when I arrived that they were no longer serving the entirety of the Long John's part of the menu for the night. There was no signage to indicate this, it wasn't told to use before we started to order, absolutely no reason this should happen aside from people not wanting to bother to take the time to cook the food. My poor kid had a horrible meltdown because they were expecting something they were really excited for, only for me to have to explain that they couldn't get it, and to not even have a real explanation as to why. How do you explain to a 5 year old, let alone an autistic one, that someone in a restaurant that is open won't make the food that's on the menu for them? Incredibly frustrating and very disappointing. We won't be attempting to come back any time soon, if ever, due to how horrendous this was.
Drive through attendant was rude, told me that the food was made to order so to pull over wait 10min. 15min later not a big deal but the food was not fresh it was actually recooked, burned and oldFood: 1/5
I do a drive thru order for Long John's abt once a month here. Food is cooked to order and always good or I should say, it's how you expect LJS to taste. Staff is always friendly.Food: 5/5

Nothing worse than ordering and paying for a 3 pc fish & chips and after getting home all you got was a 2 pc.
