The LMT is simply the best. Even the snack bar is on par with any pub joint serving burgers and fries. The best way to spend the summer in the area.
So far I really like it. Stuff for adults and children or all ages. I am excited for the season.
We are very grateful to all the wonderful staff who made our summer of 22 so special!
One of the best playground in the southeastern Pennsylvania region north of Philadelphia. Some day, I would love to enjoy their extensive aquatic facilities!
Loved this pool until now. We just found out that a new policy says that you cannot drop off your child unless they are with an 18 year old. This was a huge help with us, working parents, dropping my 12 year old off with a friend for a few hours, and has always worked out well. I believe at 12, thats old enough to be left alone. Kids were always riding their bikes there, staying with friends, and it was never an issue. It was great and convenient, and the kids and fun. Who has time to stay, besides anyone who is off during their summers and anyone who is willing to pay a nanny to be there as well as pay their membership fee on top of that. Their policy is terrible and I have had run ins before with them with my Mother coming in from out of state staying with us for 2 weeks. They would not let her take the kids to the pool without me staying there. Horrible. I loved this pool, until now and probably won't be joining next year. Its really a shame, since I do believe this will force a lot of people to look elsewhere and I know so many love this pool.
A great place for kids to enjoy the summer and their friends. We've been members the past 5 or so years and the township does a competent job and works hard to create events and activities. I can get frustrated at issues like losing a substantial part of the lap pool to kids, or not having access to the diving boards due to swim team practice, but overall it is a useful part of our summer arsenal to keep kids active and entertained.
It's lots of fun when it's not crowded - it's like a mini vacation and the kids love it. The best time to go is during the week. It sucks when its crowded - which is usually any weekend day when the weather is nice. There isn't enough parking, and it can be difficult to find a good spot to place your chairs unless you don't mind sitting in direct sunlight. I'm not a big fan of swimming in a crowded pool of strangers. The rules are strict.
Nice basketball courts, volleyball and softball fields, some open space, and very nice tennis courts. There is a popular but small children's playground as well. The swimming pool is not public but thru memberships I believe. This place can get ridiculously crowded at times. Especially when softball games or tournaments are taking place.
A great, large pool. The food here is also pretty good.
A well attended family club; people are pleasant. Variety of reasonable summer foods. Pools several seem clean and kept safe by their guards. Lots of shade avail.
