Plain tasting. Needed more flavor. Nothing special. Basic. Bread was good! They don’t have biscuits and gravy, but could easily make!Food: 3/5
Splurge on the hot beignets + bananas & cream appetizer. Both very fresh & delightful. Eggs Benedict w/ potatoes & Eggs Jennifer with grits. ASK for on a biscuit instead of English muffin. AMAZING! Split mimosa makes 2 glasses with some of the freshest orange juice I’ve had from a restaurant. I want to go back for the gumbo & shrimp etouffée for lunch. Vegetarian options: I saw lots of veggie options on menu Parking: At 9:30a found parking on street easily
This is a fantastic place to eat! Please don't expect things to be ultra quick like a breakfast diner. Be patient while being seated and checking out and you'll have a great experience. If all you have time to do is order a gravy to go, make sure you try it, it pairs with just about anything! The biscuits are flaky on top and have the consistency of savory cake inside. The cheese omelette with added adoulie sausage, half grits/potatoes and a side of the gravy, of course, is enough for 2 people if you like to share. We've been back twice now. I had the blackened salmon for lunch and would love to try their shrimp one day. They also serve Chicory Coffee, which I learned about today and would love to try next time too. Watson, on the couch, is part owner lol
Always a treat to brunch in downtown Longmont at Lucille's. The only place where you can find beignets, pain Perdue, and collette pancakes. Parking: Be prepared to park a block away during peak hours. Dietary restrictions: For gluten-free option, they use a GF French bread sandwiches, poboys, toast.
A must stop! Everything we had was phenomenal! Come early before the Sunday rush! We'll be back!Food: 5/5
Good experience here. Service was really good! Very nice and helpful. Food was also very good. The closest thing to New Orleans I’ve found in Colorado for sure! Biscuits were my favorite, they were massive and delicious!
Just Wow! Everything was delicious. Honestly, it was exciting just watching everybody else receive their plates while we were waiting for ours to come out. There's so many delicious options on the menu and the presentation is really great as well. They also have a lot of their own branded sauces and seasonings. On the table. They had on the table, their own strawberry rhubarb preserves, a sweet pepper jam, and a Creole seasoning that I sprinkled on my poached eggs with hollandaise, and I wanted to put it on everything. It was so good. And I'm sure plenty of places can poach a good egg, but all three of us had poached eggs and they were absolutely perfect, sublime even.
Outstanding again!! If you haven’t been or in the neighborhood Go! Biscuits grits and breakfast benedicts on the money. Servers are always professional and friendly which means a lot to where I eat. Enjoy!!
Wow. So glad we chose to explore here last minute. Beignets were wonderful. Gigantic biscuits come complementary. Bloody Mary did not impress. Eggs New Orleans with the fried eggplant was unstoppable. You definitely need to stop in.
Quite a delicious brunch was had at this cute establishment. This is Creole style rather than Cajun. Similar cuisines but Creole has tomato in the sauces while Cajun typically does not. Everything was great especially the humongous biscuit. Enjoyed my omelet. Our server was superb. They have homemade hot sau es and preserves on the table. We recommend this quaint eater. Oh, they have chicory coffee and beignets
