Luna Medina-Wolf is a licensed mental health counselor who works with individuals, couples, and families experiencing different obstacles that cause high levels of emotional pain and anguish, as a result of ineffective communication skills, substance abuse, trauma, school problems, and many other experiences that may contribute to feelings of anxiety, depression, anger, and more.
Luna continues her professional development with the American Counseling Association, American Mental Health Counselors Association, and Florida Counseling Association in order to bring the best and most current practices to her clients. She is in the process of finalizing her certification as a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAP).
She has a strong background in working with individuals who are struggling with substance abuse, who have experienced trauma and those with disabilities. Her love for her career and the compassion she has for her clients make her an effective therapist.
Luna’s approach to counseling pulls from several theories. She incorporates motivational approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as solution-focused and self-help resources. Her therapeutic approach begins with exploring thoughts and feelings in a safe, and respectful environment, where everyone can feel appreciated and heard. She believes in providing clients with holistic approach in improving their lives. She believes that in order to improve a lifestyle you have to approach it from a mind, body, and spirit relationship. There is a strong relationship between these three components that affect well-being.
The goal of therapy is to help you find balance and clarity that includes your voice, the voice of your loved ones, and honors each individual's hopes and dreams. Luna believes that change is possible and that each client has the power/can learn the skills needed to better their lives.
Luna is fluent in Spanish and Hebrew. Her private practice is located in Boca Raton, Florida.

My name is Luna Medina-Wolf. I am a licensed mental health counselor and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. I completed my B.A. in Psychology at Florida Atlantic University and continued there in receiving Dual Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling. I am fluent in English, Spanish and Hebrew. I continue my professional development with the American Counseling Association, American Mental Health Counselors Association, and Florida Counseling Association in order to bring the best and most current practices to my clients. Currently, I am finalizing the process of becoming a certified addiction professional. I have a strong background in working with individuals who are struggling with substance abuse, who have experienced trauma and those with disabilities. I enjoy helping clients both in an individual and in a group setting. My approach to counseling pulls from several theories. I incorporate motivational approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as solution focus and positive psychology. I believe that change is possible and that each client has the power and can learn the skills needed to better their lives.
Counseling session fee is $150.00, but I do offer a sliding scale. Please contact me if you have any difficulties with this rate.
