I came here two times the first time was great I had a fill and polish it was little pricey at $80.00, but you get what you pay for. The second time was this week. The lady that did my nails was nice, but I spent $80 for nails and $15 for tip. I had a fill and polish done, only to leave and notice how bad they were done. You can see my nails under the acrylic nails at the bottom and sides of my finger. very disappointing.Service: Acrylic nails
Usually I’m super happy with this place, I’ve gone quite a bit since moving. However, I recently went in for a pedicure with Jess. Paid for the most expensive one, the Luss Signature, which is supposed to be an hour long with callus treatment etc. and costs $77. My tech was running behind for my appointment totally fine things happen! but then rushed through my pedicure. Did only one coat of polish, barely did the calluses, finished in 40 minutes and had to leave to go pick someone up. Now I’m 39 weeks pregnant, I can’t see my feet well so from what I could see everything seemed fine but I get home and my husband points out half of each of my toe nails on my right foot aren’t even painted and he still feels the calluses on both my heels. I’m really disappointed and frustrated that sure I could go back and get it fixed, but again at 39 weeks pregnant it’s exhausting to have to turn around and go back because someone did a poor job while they were rushed.Service: Pedicure
Today was my first time at this location. Lindsay, the owner has been doing my nails for five years. She did my nail reshape and paint and I was oh so in love. But the best part of my experience today was my milk and honey pedicure with Michelle. She is a keeper. I will not go anywhere else or to anyone else but her. They did a phenomenal job today. Thank you Definitely highly recommended AlexServices: Foot massages
This salon is great! I was immediately greeted and accommodated after signing in, the ladies there were very nice and very professional. I showed her what design I wanted on my nails and she was excited to draw the designs. The process was fast and she was very efficient, my shape and size were exactly what I wanted and she checked in with me at various moments to make sure I was happy with how my nails looked. My nail lady was very kind and she made my nails look really cute.Services: Acrylic nails
Got dip manicure and eyebrows. To be fair, Mary was super nice and she did an EXCELLENT job with the dip!! They usually do a good job, but they are priiiicy! Cuticles are extra... not included with the price of nails... and that isnt cheap itself! So 50+ for dip, and extra charge just to remove cuticles... and if you use a card to pay, they add a charge for that, too! Ugh. Id use them every time if they didnt charge extra for every and anything... but my total today was $72 plus tip... for plain dip no design and eyebrows... and i had used a 15% birthday discount... so with the $13 in tip for both women3 for eyebrows, and 10 for Mary because she did an amazing job on my nails, it cost me $85 today... again, thats with a 15% birthday discount. So damn near $100 regular price. Thats rediculous imho Edit: the woman who did my eyebrows left wax on my face, AND she dropped some aloe or whatever they use after the wax in my eye... and it stung and watered so much she asked me if i was in pain, even though i said NOTHING... I always tip, im not a cheap person or a scrub. But today i only had $2 cash on me, so i used my card... and was told they do not accept tips on cards at all, so i had to use their ATM for cash... fml it was an expensive day for just dip and eyebrows! SECOND EDIT: they lied and said their atm has no fees. I was like what? And confirmed it with them verbally. It charged me, of course. So the total keeps going up. Ive decided. Im never going backServices: Waxing
I am typically someone who goes to whatever nail salon is closest to me, however, Luss is one I always find myself going back to more and more. The girl who works the counter is attentive, customer service oriented, and all of the staff is very friendly. I have never had a bad tech there. When my sister comes in to town we usually have a group of us and we always book their location as they are timely and do a good job. They even offer you a drink while you’re there! I also like that their website has booking with pricing on it. It’s straightforward and transparent. They seem to have upgraded their establishment to keep up with the times and I’m here for it. Can’t wait until next time!Services: Nail art
Been going to Luss for several months and can confidently say that I will never go back. Not only do they not have time to get you in, even with an appointment, it’s not worth the money. They have raised their prices by 20% in the last 6 months on top of instituting a 3% charge for anyone paying by credit card. I went last week for a dip powder manicure and it was $55. I didn’t even add length or get a shape. Don’t get me wrong - I requested an almond shape. But the nail tech told me that mothers shouldn’t have pointy nails, didn’t give me a shape, and then charged me for one anyway how else was it $55?!?!. The lady trimmed my cuticles to the point that most of them were bleeding. YES. BLEEDING. And then tossed the tool back in her tray without even cleaning it. One week later, my entire manicure popped off like a cheap pack of plastic nails from Walmart. Actually, I’ve had plastic nails from Walmart that stayed on longer than these. Save your time. Save your money. Go somewhere else. I only gave two stars because I never contracted a fungus from Luss. Otherwise, 1 star.
The staff here is extremely nice! I’ve been coming to this location for probably 2 years now and won’t ever go anywhere else. The place is always so clean and so pretty inside. Everyone who has done my nails has been incredible and done a great job, I’ve never once been unhappy. The prices are super reasonable too. I recommend them to everyone I know!
The place itself was clean, beautiful, and smelled amazing! Everyone was nice and my friend and I both loved our pedicures. However the sign says "cash tip preferred", neither of us had cash on us or our debit cards so we figured we'd tip on our credit cards when we payed. Come to find out, there is no credit card tipping at all. The sign is really misleading and should be more clear that tips are cash ONLY not just PREFERRED. Those are very different things. We felt horrible but was totally unprepared for that. I recommend the place but be aware you need cash.
I went for a pedicure today. The chairs are no where near relaxing. The technician put the polish on way too think. Even after sitting under the 'fan' for 20 minutes it oozed out from under the clear coat the remainder of the night. On top of their interesting payment policies charge +3% surcharge versus cash -5% discount claiming it is offsetting cost, with cash only on Sundays, certainly not anywhere I will probably ever return to.
