I looked at two different places for wigs and the first one had limited options that didn't seem very good quality and I wasn't sure I would get a wig based on that experience. Later that week I had an appointment at Lynne's and she had so many more options available to try and the wigs seemed to be higher quality and I felt much more confident buying a wig. Later I went back for some adjustments and Lynne took the time to make sure she didn't cut too much at once and made sure it was just how I wanted it. I was much happier with my wigs afterward. I will definitely be going back for any future needs.
No interest in serving the public. Called left messages for appointment. Knocked on the door while she was there and refused to open the door. Instead hid in her back room.
I walked in with a horrible wig which is a story in itself. I had spent the night trying to remove a massive knot and mat that had happened within a few hours of wear. Lot of frustration. Lots of lost hair. I spent the rest of my night looking for wig boutiques by me. I had seen this shop before and made a mental note it was there, never thinking I would have this kind of an emergency. On Lynne's website, she mentions services such as damage repair, so I was wanting to see what could be done, bearing in mind that the best option may be a new wig. Right away Lynne was extremely helpful and empathetic to my issue. We looked over the existing wig and she covered the issues and what could be done, as well as going over some trouble I was having with the dryness. This wig I had purchased online, was natural human hair, full lace, silk top. I had been glueing/taping it to keep it in place. I decided I wanted to try something different and she was very helpful at looking over all the styles she had that would work for me. Both styles I looked at were on the top shelf and she graciously pulled out her step to grab each one. She spent time with me, explaining how the wigs work I'm a new wig wearer. I ended up leaving with a synthetic, lace front, silk top wig that amazingly: I DON'T HAVE TO GLUE DOWN! I am beyond excited about this. It looks beautiful. We went over hair care and I ordered a different color as well. The cost of one wig here was HALF of what I had paid for the one I walked in with. Lynne turned my frown upside down and I left a happy customer. I only wish I had gone to her first before buying that original wig.
She didn’t explain any kind of return options at all! I felt rushed. I arrived on time, but the previous appointment was still in the appointment time I had, so the appointment after mine felt rushed as well. My advice: Don’t make an appointment anywhere close to her closure hour! I was not sure between two options of wigs, which made me rushed through which to purchase. After getting home and trying out the wig without the “rushed feeling”, I knew immediately I wanted the other wig. So, I called the next day to go over returns/exchanging policies, she gave me absolutely zero options, even though she did NOT explain ANYTHING while I was with her the night before! $450.00 down the drain!! She was very friendly, yet rushed while I was in her shop. The next day- not at all! Make sure you know the details of any wig shopping.
I have bought my wigs at Lynne’s wig for literally years. I have Alopecia areata. And have appreciated Lynne’s kindness and help with whatever I have needed. A lot of people ask me when they find out that it is a wig where I get my cute wigs from. Some people when they find out it’s a wig that I wear cannot believe it’s a wig. It looks so natural and real. I would highly recommend Lynne’s wig for anyone who needs hair pieces, wigs, cute hats or just fun wigs for costume party’s etc. I always say to her I hope you always will be here and never leave because I need you.. I am grateful for good people like Lynne who help others and care about them. I am thankful for her. Diane
I am an entertainment booking agent with Green Light Booking. I had a very high-profile event in Park City and ordered a costume from a vendor in Florida. When the costume arrived, the wig was destroyed. Half of the hair was missing. I didn't have time to send the wig back to the vendor, so I looked online and found Lynne's Wig Boutique. Lynne was SO helpful. She took the time to match the hair on the wig exactly. She came in on her day off the next day to reconstruct the damaged wig. The finished product was beyond amazing, and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Lynne and her staff for anything wig-related. They are professionals in every sense of the word.
My 82-year-old mother Renee has been wearing wigs for years. She loves the kind of old-fashioned foam rubber wig bands that you pin in with bobby pins. We haven't been able to find them anywhere. I happened upon the website of Lynne's Wig Boutique and thought perhaps from a photo Lynne might carry them. I emailed her my request and immediately received a kind and positive response. I called the next day and spoke with Lynne, who again, was kind and compassionate. I ordered 30 wig bands which made my mother's day--week--year and they are on their way. I wish we lived in Utah so that I could take my mother to Lynne's Shop. So does my mom. Thank you, Lynne.
Lynne spent a lot of time suggesting and helping me try on different wigs until I found the right one. She also went through the care process and helped me with some headscarves and accessories, as well. I definitely recommend her shop!!
I was a Santa in distress and Lynne had Yak hair Santa wigs and beard sets in stock. She was a great help on the proper care of the wig. They also offer wig care service. This beats anything the internet can do for you. Thanks Santa Doug.
i went to the store yesterday- and it was closed but she was there with another customer. she said i needed an appointment. she said the only available was for next week Thursday. she said she could not accommodate me -. maybe my accent ?, maybe the virus? i do not know but it will be better for her to tell the public online that her store is closed and She can choose her customers without making impossible for new customers. I definitely not very happy with my experience.
