Earlier this year after the loss of our premature son my husband and I were faced with the task of picking a funeral home to cremate our sons remains. My husband and I grew up in town and choose Scanlans. It was absolutely the best choice. The staff cared for our son Oliver as though he were still here with us. The funeral home allowed family members to get more time with our son prior to his cremation. Our families told us how amazing the staff was with our son. They made it seem as though Oliver was their own family. After he was cremated we received a call that his urn was ready. When we walked into Scanlans were greeted by the owners absolutely adorable dog. Being greeted by this adorable tail wagging dog helped us get through such a painful moment. The urn they provided us was this absolutely beautiful blue heart. Fast forward to this evening. I go to grab the mail to find this absolutely thoughtful card from Scanlans. Scanlans is truly a funeral home that cares for those they have served. Thank you so much to the incredible staff and funeral home. My husband and I will forever be grateful how loving and caring your staff was towards our son and family in such a tragic time.

From the first phone call to the final meeting - Kiera Scanlan-Wespestad and her staff were professional, compassionate, efficient, and responsive. We decided to go a non-traditional route and requested a bio-degradable urn suitable for a burial at sea. Not only did she find a beautiful vessel for my parent's ashes, the urn performed beyond expectation it floated away on the waves for quite awhile. Thank you all for your excellent service.

The staff at this home are wonderful. They were so kind and compassionate during a difficult time. It was truly appreciated.
