Macalester First Aid is a student organization that aims to bring emergency medical education and service to the Macalester College community. We hold regular CPR/AED classes throughout the semester and offer one EMT course every year during J-term. During our regular events, we run through medical/trauma scenarios, give presentations on current medical practices, and practice response techniques through continuing education.
MFA also operates Macalester College Emergency Medical Services (MCEMS), Mac's only student-staffed and operated emergency medical response service. You can find our members on-call every Friday and Saturday night from 7pm - 3am upstairs in the Campus Center. Call Security any time day or night at (651)-696-6555 for medical emergencies.
If you're interested in registering for our CPR or EMT courses, feel free to shoot us an email at [email protected] or keep an eye out in the Daily Piper.
