Macomb Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #189.
FOP Lodge #189 is a professional organization of police officers from the Macomb, Illinois Police Department.
Our organization was established in 1976 and exists to encourage fraternal, educational, charitable and social activities among law enforcement officers. It is our aim to cultivate the spirit of fraternalism and mutual helpfulness among our members and the people we serve.
We strife to increase the efficiency of the law enforcement profession and, in doing so, more firmly establish the confidence of the public by:
- Maintaining the highest professional standards
- Taking a leadership role in sponsoring and supporting youth activities and organizations in our community
- Endorsing and supporting ideas, issues, and projects that enrich our community
- Providing benefits and services which will assist our members in their daily efforts to keep the peace, uphold the Constitution, and maintain a free society
