Cannot say this enough. Staff was so friendly. And so nice to me and my daughter. Quick Service and we’re so helpful. Appreciate all the staff that helped us that day.

The lady in the vital records dept was so nice & very helpful. Could not have gone better. She brightened my day!

They were the best I wish I could remember the lady took my blood name and the lady did my shots to be cured they made sure I was good before I left they made sure my blood pressure went down before I left they took good care of Me and I got my hiv std results back two days later I was negative for everything even tho I was tested for std I still was taking good care of

Quite literally the worst experience. It is truly unfortunate that those who want to start businesses and have to work with the health department are made to feel like idiots for asking questions. Via email and in-person interactions, my suggestion would be that if this city wants to continue to grow and be a desirable place for people to live, they should employ kind people to work for the government offices. I wish there was another route to go when it comes to getting health certifications.

Recently went to obtain my child's birth certificate and was very impressed with the staff and experience as a whole. They greeted me upon entry, there was no wait time, they worked quickly and efficiently while being kind and professional. I was blown away that this was a public service experience that I left without any complaints!

Getting documents is a service that is only performed from 8-4. I totally get that it's hard to effectively communicate the details of the intricacies of a location like this, but there is an overuse of "8-5" hours being posted on websites with no caveat. Again, I get why this might be the case, but it needs to be communicated more effectively. I would give the benefit of the doubt and give 3 stars, but there's an insult to working people to remove another hour of window time to complete errands that involve this service. If banking hours were insulting enough, this takes it another step lower. I sympathize with the logistics higher ups face with running a health department and by no means intend to insult those who just happen to be in the trenches, but perhaps this will save someone a trip across town and schedule coordination efforts. Best to call ahead to get explicit outlines of variable hours.

Just wanted to come on here and give 5 stars for the lady that did my pap and breast exam today. I wish I could remember her name because she was so great. Very kind and professional, and checked other things that she didn’t have to as well. She seemed to genuinely care for her patients. Last year it was someone different don’t remember her name and she was rude and literally just didn’t seem to care about anything but doing the exam and making her money and getting me out of there. The service here isn’t usually the best but she was excellent which is why I had to come post a review.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Tried calling ahead of time and the woman on the phone was so incredibly condescending and rude. I wish I would have read these reviews beforehand. I highly recommend visiting the Limestone County Health Department instead. Their customer service, and attitudes, are top notch. Madison County Health Department staff is trash. I feel sorry for the ones there that are actually great. Their trash coworkers give them a bad rep.

Just moved to the area and didn’t know I needed to transfer my daughter’s immunization shots in order to get her enrolled in school. Got here 40 minutes before closing on a holiday week and Travis G was absolutely amazing. Helped me and gave me a list of local resources! Thank you for being another bright light during the crazy time in my life. We need more people like you around.
