Great little library. They of course have a wide selection of books, video movies, audio books, computer's to use, and copy machines .15 cent black And white .50 for color. They have a great kids section as well. Great place to go on hot days it works as a cooling center if you need to cool off. I would definitely recommend anyone to go there.
Awesome place.. love the new look just wish they had more computers or laptops otherwise then that I'm really impressed
The remodeled library now has the feel and look of a business and not very welcoming. It use to have the fun and welcoming feel and look. Very disappointed!
The selection is good, the location is great, and the staff have never been anything but kind, helpful, and respectful to me. I'm a guy who reads a lot of romance novels, and I'm used to getting a weird look or two. It's good to know that I can show up, ask to find the pirate love stories, and be shown exactly what I'm looking for without any judgment. Thanks for everything!
My children love coming to the library. It's been our home library for years. Such friendly staff and the little craft kits available for kids make my 8yo super happy. Unfortunately, we recently moved, so it's not our go to location anymore.
Very small quaint municipal library for residents. Needs to improve on privacy. U keep my library card in my wallet through out the years. Sweet kind honest library that calls to return wallets, personal items inside wallets, very helpful library workers
While I agree that some of the librarians are fairly helpful, the library itself is in neglect. It smells of mildew, and I think the furnishings are from the '70s, including all the dirt and stains. There are items strewn all over the areas where the patrons check out and the librarians' work areas, and it just looks unkempt, almost as if the staff gave up years ago trying to keep it neat and in order. It definitely makes me long for my old library, located in the northwest area of Oakland County, that was three times the size and where everything was neatly arrayed and clean and new. I generally do love libraries, but MH is so depressing that I avoid it unless I absolutely have to go to it for something.
I had the nicest lady assist me in making copies for important project. It's been awhile and my office skills have not been used in years. She helped me so much and it was greatly appreciated. To others who had a bad experience, did you smile and be nice? You get what you give!!
With all the good books and films this place houses, the library is simply awful. It seems that other than the library staff itself, everyone knows that they must observe silence or at least make an effort to keep it down. The library staff bickers and shouts out their stupid life stories in such high notes that the place is unbearable if you plan to read, concentrate or think. It's pathetic that these people should abuse the ethics of a library just to obtain an audience they never had and combat their loneliness.
The staff is helpful, they have fast computers, but some of the book series are incomplete i.e they are missing book 3 in the Maze Runner series. They also have nice little reading places in the corners. Overall, it is a great place!
