Had a great stay. Was perfect place to stop between Florida and Texas with the kids for the night. Large playground and very clean pool. Right by the casinos if adults want to run over there. We would do it again next trip. Katie was very sweet with helping me move my date last minute and adding extra guest. Great customer service. Responds in minutes.
We stayed here for a couple of nights on a trip to visit Vicksburg Battlefield. The park is a bit out of the way to get to, the sites were pretty close together, there were several long term patrons with various types of rv 's. There was no shade so it was pretty hot, the showers were clean but a good long walk from us as the amenities were all at on end of the park so if you're not up front, its a hike to get to them.
I texted this RV park on day of spur of the moment trip. Immediate communication led to Brooklyn helping us even though the office was closing in 15 minutes. Great location to shop for groceries and Hobby Lobby for crafts. Used shower at office facility and it was very clean. Pool and playground for 9 yr old twins was great. We had family close by to visit but still did some crafts outside on the very nice picnic table.
If you have a small/medium rig and are looking for a place to set up base camp while you go sightseeing all day, this is your place. If you have a larger rig or like to hang out outside this not your place. Sites are way too close, we had to ask our neighbor to move their car AND roll in their awning just to get out of our site when we left. Park expansion appears to be in progress and is rumored to be big rig friendly, but doesn't appear as if it'll be operational before 2024. No trash service at your site. Dumpsters are so tall I had to stand on my tail gate to open the lid. People were nice, pool looked clean, and this park is quiet and located perfectly for visiting museums and military park. Easy access to/from I-20. Park has a fenced in dog park and small playground for the kids. EDIT: After speaking with the owner Katie, Im confident the parking issues will be addressed, and the new expansion will be big rig friendly...as such, if we go back to Vicksburg, we'll be staying at Quilly's again.
Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. My son enjoyed borrowing movies located in the office. Pool, laundry facilities, and dog park were nice. Bathrooms and showers were clean with hot water and good pressure. Close proximity to National Military Park, Walmart, and easy on and off freeway for travel. Only complaint was there were quite a few long term camper units that were very much in disrepair and were quite an eyesore to look at. Nearby activities: Close to National Military Park.
We enjoyed our week long stay at Quilly’s Magnolia RV Park! All the people staying there were very pleasant and friendly. Nice pool that hardly ever had anyone in it, that’s always nice! Also, close to all the conveniences. We will certainly stay here again next time we’re in the area.Location: 5/5
It was ok, if you have cancel, no refund. I was not aware of this policy when I made reservation. They will give you a credit to use at a later time. This doesn't help me since I won't be traveling that way in the future. One star rating bc
Great stop by the Interstate with easy access also back into town. Clean & climate controlled bathhouse, helpful staff, a nice salt water pool, gravel but level sites. A little close for bigger rigs, but they are currently building some new, larger ones.Rooms: 4/5
Sites are a bit tight, but otherwise the park is clean and had everything we needed. They are also expanding with larger sites. Staff was friendly and helpful as well. Convenient location far enough out to be quiet, yet close enough to shopping, dining etc.Service: 5/5
Stopped over for one night, easy process considering we got in after the office closed and left before they opened. Staff recommended a bomb Cajun restaurant Gumbo Pot and that was a gift to hungry travelers. Not a fancy place but plenty decent for the night. We’d stop here again.
