Solid selection and great service. They often do samples of whiskey, wine, and beer. They also have 10 or so taps for crowlers and growlers but most are local and not very rare. One of the best craft beer selections in the county, I'd wager.
Really nice shop with a rewards program, online ordering, and a good selection of beers. I would say from the footprint that this place is about 60% focused on Wine/ Spirits and 40% on beer. They have multiple drafts available for filling and a really nice selection of the regular beers plus a lot of crafts. For how much nicer the shop feels, the beer prices are only a little higher than your local beer hole in the wall and when they do specials, even lower. They don't have a LOT of quantity of each item feels like you are always grabbing the last 6-back but they squeeze a lot of variety into a relatively small space. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I REALLY appreciate they offer online ordering/ inventory and they even allow you to sign up for text alerts if something you want becomes available but TBH never had one appear and get messaged either. Overall, there are some more beer focused stores locally with more variety ex. Dawson's in SP BUT they aren't near as nice as this place and don't have all the features. Give them a try!!
Always a good place to stop if you are looking for a great wine or other adult beverage. They have a wide selection of wines, and offer tastings on Saturdays. They also have a good selection of beer and hard cider. They have liquor, but that is not my jam, so I can't comment on the selection.
Great selection but some products are very overpriced. Found this item I purchased $28 less $76 -> $48 2 blocks away at my normal spot. ‍
Convenient location & great customer service from all their staff. Everytime I walk into the store I’m always greeted by several staff. There is always someone available to help answer any questions. This last time I came in trying to pick a wide variety of local beers to give as a gift to my boss. Dave and Melissa were extremely helpful with recommendations. Thanks to them I’m likely getting a phat bonus from my boss this year. P.S. you guys should get some 3 Star Low Hanging Fruit in so I know what to spend it on.
If you're looking for great quality and great tasting wine for cheap this is your place. Not the most friendly but if you ask they will tell. Excellent collection of wines under $15. Update: A large majority of staff are kind, informative and accommodating. There is only one not so much. But the collection of wine is impeccable and competitive to other liquor stores in the area. I enjoy my visits and they carry my absolute favorite box wine. 10 stars!
The staff here is fabulous. I went in looking for a certain style of European beer and asked the staff if they had anything in stock. The young lady I spoke with admitted that their imports were limited but too a moment to get a feel for the beers I like. After suggesting a few micro brews in the European style she recommended I try the Belgian Trippel that was on tap. It was fabulous and I walked home with a new growler. Taking the time to get to know your customers is a big deal to me.
Five stars mostly comes from the service. One gentleman was quick to chat about selection and his own thoughts on appropriate buys for what I was looking for. Even let me sample a couple things they had opened which was really fun, and helpful. I hope they keep that up for liquor! The store is small so they have to be crafty about their selection. Still, I found what I was looking for. Barr Hill Tom Cat Gin! Price even beat Total Wine. Hope they can carry some stuff from Charm City, St George Gin, and Buffalo Trace. Oh, and rotating taps for growlers!
Great location right next to the grocery store for wine, beer, and liquor. The staff was super friendly. They also have a bar area for tastings you can do throughout the day. They also allow you to sample before filling growlers. Good selection and clean.
They knock it out. They have a great selection, fair prices and the best keg buying experience in the area. They actually call you back when it's in which obviously isn't hard, but 3 other local store can't seem to manage. They also have a great deal with Capiche next door.
