Maitland Little League as of March 2023 is under an entirely new management. The recent negative reviews from the Fall of 2022 are correct and a group of us frustrated parents have elected a new board of directors and the engagement has never been higher. We've revamped our messaging on social media and online presence, re-opened the concession stand, organized more donations and support from local businesses than previous seasons, organized a facilities clean up day, and have a developed a rigorous gameplan to increase enrollment three-fold. We've also had our coaches organize all-ages skills clinics weekly in addition to normal practices to get this little league back on track with our local peers. So yes, Fall 2022 was not great but this league is under new, and more involved leadership than there has been in years with plans to make this little league premier organization for years to come.
This is my sons first year doing tee ball and we love it! The coaches and staff of the Maitland little league are amazing! The complex is well maintained and has a friendly and inviting atmosphere. I’m excited for the season and will be signing up next year as long as he wants to play again.
Unfortunately this organization has gone downhill. My 4 year old was unable to play due to health issues, so I reached out to the president to ask if we could postpone his enrollment until the fall or receive a partial refund since jerseys had been ordered and I’m not trying to lose the league money. Never heard back from the president and the coaches weren’t very approachable. Generally, they leave a lot to be desired communication-wise and the facilities have gone downhill since I played softball there as a kid. We won’t be returning.
DO NOT REGISTER YOUR KID HERE Maitland LITTLE League. Last season was wonderful, clean, organized, safe for kids. Thanks to the previous administration, Julia was the most helpful and caring person in charge. This new president and his team are doing an awful job. But really awful. This season was more expensive double price and we didn't get uniforms, only a horrible t-shirt, no pants, no socks. It should be a non-alcoholic place and you can see the pictures... I sent an email to the president and of course... never answered. Isn't it obvious? Hope someone can take care of this and remove this guy. DO NOT REGISTER YOUR KID HERE
Fields are so well maintained. Club is organized this year with weekly practices and games. Concession stand is nice.
Its a welcoming league for baseball players ,If you have a daughter 13 and up who plays softball your better off in Babe Ruth
Very good lighting, clean fields. Bathrooms are a different story.
Great field for recreation. I've been to watch my granddaughters play softball.
Always clean and a pleasant place to spend time at for sports
