Nestled minutes from the Lake of the Ozarks, Majestic Oaks Campground offers the ideal space for your next family getaway. With 47 acres to explore, the grounds truly have something for everyone to enjoy (even your four-legged family members). Kick back and relax by our sparkling swimming pool, work up a sweat on the hiking trails, partake in some friendly competition with horseshoes or on the sand volleyball or basketball courts. Park your own RV for a couple days during a road trip, or rent one of our cozy and well-maintained cabins. In addition to an on-site camping store with all the essentials (ice, firewood, you name it!), we have several fun events with the changing of seasons, like our Father’s Day Waffle Breakfast, Labor Day Smoke Meat Contest, and our famous Halloween Spooktacular!

The family had a great time Glamping in one of their tent sites. The hosts were super accommodating and always visible. The pool and playground were loved by our daughter and they even inflated their Smokey the Bear bounce house for her to play in. We highly recommend this campground and want to say Thanks for a great vacation.Rooms: 5/5
I like this resort a lot overall, but I'm here to comment about the pool. My mother and I frequently go swimming at home, and as soon as we stepped inside, we both observed that the pool was slimy and had hair strands floating about. Because it hasn't been properly cleaned, I'm assuming. We witnessed a man add chlorine to the pool; however, I want to point out that the water doesn't enter and exit the pool, and there doesn't appear to be any chlorine odour. Please check the pH levels and confirm that the chlorine is indeed working, as this could be dangerous as well as unsanitary. Rooms: Simple but lovely rooms are offered. My only suggestion is to install some blackout curtains since the cabin seems to get hot rapidly. For the dining area's firm seats, I could additionally suggest seating pads.
I love this area but. The folks was nice and friendly. Place was clean, plus we had a swimming pool when it was hot. I'm coming back!Rooms: 5/5
Been several times to visit & this site will always get a 10/10 vote from me, it's clean, people/neighbors are kind, no crazy partying or loud music keeping you up at night, very family oriented place, has playground pool, game room, very clean bathrooms, and people look out for each other & the kids. Safe & A+++ if I had a camper, I wouldn't go anywhere else! hands down! Safety: Best kid friendly atmosphere & everyone looks out for each other but especially the kids. It's surreal, fabulous home & family vibes & you'll love your neighbors. Noteworthy details: Absolutely peaceful camp ground with great people, great neighbors, facilities clean, game room, playground and pool on site. This will be where I go after purchasing a camper in future. Highly recommend! Playground: Not huge, but more than most have if they have any, but it's always kept up and safe for the kids. Can't beat safety! Restrooms: Always clean. I've never seen them dirty once. Not the showers or restrooms. Dog-friendliness: Pet friendly & haven't met a mean pet there yet.
Hands down the most laid back campground in the lake area. Family friendly, they have several themed event throughout the season. The staff are great!! Our go to campground.

Nice, wooded campground. Road to get there is insane, but we made it! Update: We’ve stay here a few times and have always felt welcome. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I’m even better at the roads, I close my eyes and let my husband drive. Update 2: I love this campground more every time we stay. The staff is super accommodating with changes or last minute requests. They have completed many updates. My favorites are the Open Air Chapel and the Glamping Tents. Pool was great and never over crowded. Nice playgrounds. Very kid friendly. Several nice hiking trails. Make sure you pay attention to the difficulty level. “Challenging? How challenging can 3/10 of a mile to the waterfall be? Steep downhill slope….ok I can handle this… oops… forgot going back would be straight up hill against gravity! I couldn’t see the water, but I could hear it.” Good shoes instead of flip flops and a walking stick would have helped, but I enjoyed the jaunt any ways! Highly recommended campground!
