Malak BnB is wonderful. Hosts are friendly and hospitable. The house is beautiful inside, quite luxurious. Rooms are large. Suitable for couples, singles and families. Everywhere is exceptionally clean. Forget boring egg and bacon. The hostess serves a selection of homemade pastries, biscuits and cakes, along with cereals, fruit, cold meats, bagels, breads and anything you want.
Great place with amazing hosts; very clean and well furnished. Heba, the hostess, goes out of her way to serve you the best way possible. You feel respected and very much welcome in their lovely home. We will definitely come to Malak BnB again, more than once.Rooms: 5/5
We were impressed and felt right at home from the moment we entered Hiba and Jay's beautiful home: a clean, wonderfully decorated house that breathed hospitality and generosity. The main floor hosts a cozy breakfast room and a private living room available for guests to relax and have a conversation or watch tv. The room was spacious, super clean and carefully set up, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast included a variety of foods that accommodated every taste, plus some delicious home baked Lebanese pastry and cakes. We did not have dinner in, but we were told that dinner is available and I am sure that it is outstanding - we will definitely try it next time. The hosts are warm and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed - Hiba asked if we had any allergies or sensitivities, and although we do not, I am sure that it would have not been a problem at all. When we left, we were gifted a box of home baked treats and given a warm and heartfelt goodbye. We are sure to go back in the future and we will be happy to support this excellent local family-owned business.
We had a lovely time at this B&B, Heva and Jay were so nice and made us very welcome. The breakfast was great. Home made pastries made by Heva…soo good. Will definitely return again next year. Room was lovely and beds were very comfortable. Thank you.Rooms: 5/5
Jay and Hiba are the best hosts ever! They are very friendly and resourceful: they helped us out so much while we were in Crystal Beach and made us feel like family. Hiba is an AMAZING chef and prepares very delicious Lebanese dinners, so I definitely recommend that you add these to your stay. The bnb itself is very clean and cozy, and its location is great as it is close to the beach and good restaurants. We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely come back to Malak bnb in the future.
I stayed at Malak B&B from August 7th to August 9th 2020 with my parents and girlfriend. I have to say Jay and Hiba deserve a gold star in hospitality. Everything was spotless and clean, outside and inside of the house. The house is beautifully decorated and landscaped with a mix of modern and eastern Mediterranean style decoration. The location is excellent as well, a four-minute drive to the crystal beach parking lot. You can sleep in a nice quiet suburb during the night, away from the night partyers in the cottages, but still be close enough to the beach. The included breakfast was always plenty, delicious, and on time. Hiba is an excellent cook. Malak B&B offers dinner service as well and it does not disappoint. While their menu looks delicious, Hiba prepared an off-menu delicious Lebanese feast for us that left us filled to the brim! Jay made some excellent recommendations for a scenic drive to Niagara-on-the-lake that we absolutely loved. We absolutely loved staying here and will be back, either to stay or for Hiba’s cooking!
Wonderful stay & great hospitality! Our bed was comfortable and the entire place was clean. But most importantly - the food was absolutely delicious! The hosts were very friendly and made every effort to make us feel right at home. They were knowledgeable in recommending good spots to visit and sights to see. We will definitely be coming back again when we come to visit Crystal Beach!
Malak does not allow children their words, "adult only" despite not making this clear anywhere on any of their online listings - we double checked after the fact. We arrived in the evening, on bicycles, with a child in tow, and they told us this in person. Their words, it was "Expedia's problem". They were not hospitable, unwelcoming, and unhelpful. Update 2022: Malak has replied that they ended up accommodating our child. That is a lie. They turned away an exhausted, tired infant at bedtime. We booked accomodations at a nearby motel instead.
This place was run by a wonderful couple who made us feel very welcomed and took care of our every need. Large clean room, good location and delicious meals.. We would recommend this bnb and return if in the area again.Rooms: 5/5
