My wife and I received a recommendation for Mama Mia's we previously didn't know about the place. Wow, what a great place. The atmosphere, decor really reflect Italy. Menu choices are plenty, the food is exceptionally prepared and incredibly good. Service is outstanding too. Also, located inside is a bakery and take out is very busy as well. Can't wait to return.
Calamari was amazing and pizza and meatball were good experience. It was mild to me but I felt homemade and healthy : I will visit again for calamari and try the other food!
Had an amazing dinner here tonight for my mom and uncle’s birthdays! Our waiter Brian was very attentive and funny and made sure that everyone had a great experience. The food was delicious- I loved the calamari and their vodka sauce is the best in the area! We decided that this will be our new place to go where we celebrate birthdays and family events!! No complaints at all- everything was perfect!
Heard so much about this place only to be disappointed. First and foremost. If you use a CREDIT CARD, be prepared for 3% SURCHARGE to be added to your bill. I think this should be known to the customers before they pay or on the menu. Our meals consisted of an order of Chicken Sorrento and an order Chicken Francese, which the chicken was dry. We had to ask for a side of the sauce to help with the meal. The Chicken Sorrento was on average good. Both dishes were sided with pasta. The menu's were not constant in pricing. One menu shows the Chicken Sorrento at $27, while the other shows it at a higher price. We asked, and were told it is the higher price. With track season just around the corner, things need to be corrected.
What a phenomenal experience! As they advertise, all the pasta is fresh made on site and DELICIOUS. I got the veal parmigiana and my boyfriend got chicken francese, which were both delicious. Very very good rustic Italian food. Nothing was overpowering and everything tasted super fresh and light. Also, their table bread was the best we've ever had. Definitely worth a visit!
Worst pizza I have had in a long time, crust was so dry and extremely hard. Staff Manager was rude and brutally difficult to deal with. I don’t write reviews for the simple reason of sometimes mistakes happen but with a “Manager” this disrespectful, this is deserving. Consistently overpriced and very dry pizza, adding disrespect to the list I would highly recommend just about any other Italian place in Saratoga. The worst meal I’ve had in Saratoga in over 25 years, seriously. After waiting one hour and forty five minutes for our main courses 2 out of 3 were burnt and mostly inedible. While our waitress was trying to be helpful she was so overwhelmed that the wait was intolerable. To make amends she offered to remove the 2 ruined dishes off the bill and get us something else. Given the length of time we declined but she nicely said she would fix us some plain grilled chicken breasts to go, no charge. When the bill came we were charged for the returned main courses. We asked for the manager and told him that we were supposed to be comped for 2 of the 3 dinners. He couldn’t have been more rude. He said fine let the waitress pay for it and stormed off. When the revised bill came it had charges for the chicken breasts. At this point we paid it and left the waitress a good tip. We will NEVER go back.
Mamma Mia's is a local Italian restaurant located in Saratoga Springs. It serves authentic Italian food including Pastas, Pizza, Chicken dishes and Fish to name a few. Desserts are made in their adjacent Bakery. Cannoli was delicious. The place is very popular with Locals. Reservations are highly recommended.Recommended dishes
Decided to stop here for dinner while in the area. The food was wonderful. Ended up with homemade gnocchi in a pink sauce and it was some of the best pasta I've ever had. Toasted almond cake for dessert was also amazing The place was decently crowded for a Wednesday night and the service was also really good. Definitely will need to come back here again to try some of the other offerings on the menu.
Went for Sunday night dinner during track season, and before concert at SPAC. Place was packed at 6pm, luckily we had a reservation. Food was very good, and large menu. Service was very good. Would definitely go again.Food: 4/5
