We were blown away by the quality of the food here. This was our first time here and we went for lunch. Everything was fresh and delicious, we got the fried whitefish and catfish, greens, potato salad, sweet potatoes, and mac n cheese. Lawd have mercy, it was a lot of food but we finished every bite!
Hands down the best food I've had in a long time. We had the pork chops, chicken wings, whiting nuggets, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and sprite!! It's was affordable, delicious, and service was so welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming including the staff. It was clean and smelled so amazing. We will definitely be back and will be bringing my parents also!
The food here is absolutely delicious! I can't wait for them to reopen fully again someday! The collard greens were so good and rich don't tell my fiancée I like theirs more than hers, and I love the sweet potatoes and potato salad too! The fried pork chop, chicken, and whiting fish are delicious! Again, I simply cannot wait to go back!
Great Food, Great People. This is not only what real home cooking should taste like, but feel like. Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly, and it's such a welcoming atmosphere. Wonderful decoration inside. The daily changing menu gives great reason to come back and try something new every time. Everything I had was solid, and, importantly, I felt at peace eating it. No other place like it in Muncie, hope it sticks around a long time.
I had me order delivered. Yeah it's a little pricey BUT, the food is top notch. The catfish was delicious. Perfectly battered and the fish nice a light! A-ma-zing! The homemade potato salad amazing! The collard greens amazing! The Coleslaw was good. The fried ribs were good, I got my bread on the side if it had been served underneath with some BBQ sauce on top of it I think it would have been out of this world! This place is definitely a place that I will order from again and hopefully visit soon I can't wait to try some different items.
Customer service was very friendly. Clean restaurant, very welcoming. I had take out. The young lady explained the menu would change everyday. Certain things you could get on certain days. Very nice decorative large space. The food was fresh an tasty. I had fried wings an Cole slaw. I'll be going back again.

This was awesome! We arrived 30 mins to close, and knew what it was walking in. We asked for wha t she had left, and she loaded us up with chicken, the best sweet potatoes, salad and a muffin with a discount. We were thrilled and will be back for more. Can't wait to try the Mac and cheese and greens. Exceptional service. Better Food.
I was driving around town had a lot of things on my mind and on my heart .I just kept praying and singing my JESUS songs on K-LOVE, that's what my grand babies call it JESUS songs..lol Any wayI felt like I kept going in circles. I saw Mamas SOUL FOOD .. I ordered my food and sat down.. And I started listening to the worship songs they had playing in the background and every song that came on was how I was feeling I felt God was telling me everything was going to be okay. I just sat there and I cried. The food was absolutely amazing the chicken was cooked perfectly the potato salad was great and the macaroni and cheese was heavenly I got to worship pray and eat a wonderful meal all at the same time. I truly loved it first time I've ever experienced a restaurant like that . we need more of them And then my son come to join me what made it even better we prayed together and we enjoyed our meal. This place is amazing. food is fantastic !!! I will be going back, the people that work there we're so kind and always checking on you to make sure you were enjoying your meal it was a wonderful experience I will be going back.
We called ahead and paid by credit card on the phone. We told them the time we wanted to pick up our food and it was ready when we arrived. The food had just came out and it was hot. I ordered 3 piece whitefish, cold slaw, and southern style southern style spaghetti. I ask what makes it southern style and was told it was spaghetti with a kick.My hubby got the catfish and whitefish combo dinner with southern style spaghetti and potato salad. Each meal also comes with two slices of white bread. The portions were large. We both have leftovers. Everything was delicious! We were so impressed that we plan on going back and trying other meals . The young lady that was at the counter was very friendly. She was also courteous and patient answering my questions. Employees were wearing face mask which is a big deal since our city mask mandate was lifted this week. I noticed tables were well spaced for social distancing Nd the place was nicely decorated and very clean. I would definitely recommend Mamma Bond's to anyone looking for great food. We have not ate inside a restaurant since the pandemic shut down in March of 2020 but we feel Mamma Bond's is safe and our next visit will be inside.
