Sho'Nuff Soul Food Cafe is a non-profit restaurant & training center serving Milam and surrounding counties.

We serve traditional soul food with a purpose. Food that is always hot & NEVER from a can. All proceeds from Sho'Nuff goes into rebuilding dilapidated neighborhoods.

Sho Nuff is down home cooking, "Soul Food". Friendly wait staff and delicious food. I've had the meatloaf and fried catfish. You can't go wrong and you won't leave hungry. The homemade desserts, my favorite is the peach cobbler, guarantee it...Sho Nuff!
Great food, quiet atmosphere and excellent staff!
I loved everything at this restaurant. Everything was awesome! It was like sitting down at grandma's table. Good old home cooking! The atmosphere was great for fellowship. The service was second to none under the leadership of Tony Brooks!!!
Best home style cooking for miles around! We had their great fried pork chops and gravy yesterday. All the sides are cooked to perfection! Their Cajun specials on Tuesdays taste like you are in Crowley, LA FYI, order the Peach Cobbler as soon as you get there because it goes fast.
A friend who lives in town recommend this spot. Good and service were fantastic. Had a little talk with the owner, this place is wonderful and the food is delicious. There were three of us, we had oxtails, brisket and sausage, with sides of red beans, potato salad and green beans with peach cobbler for dessert. We'll be back next time we are in Rockdale!
Awesome food! I had the sweet smoked ribs, candied yams, white rice and gravy, and bread pudding. Everything, except the rice and gravy which was okay, was outstanding! Plus at only 10 dollars its a great value as well! If you were to order something similar in Lockhart or Austin you would pay 20 plus dollars for a meal that would taste half as good and have half size portions as well : /. Even with the hour long drive from Austin, I will definetly come back again.
This is an awesome restaurant with great down home cooking. They also have wonderful Cajun style food and the restaurant is spotless. The wait staff is so polite and helpful and want you to enjoy your experience.
Best food. Hot and delicious family cooking at it's best. Great owner, waitress friendly, great service. The owner was there and he is a wonderful, caring man. We felt like family.
Great food, great flavor, great customer service. Must try everything on the menu. Great tasting foods and super tasty desserts. Wow, staff is wonderful. Owner is very personal and very attentive. The very best in customer service 10 stars!!!
This is the place to eat for down home cooking. Love the family atmosphere. Tender, delicious ribs and great sides. And you won't leave hungry! Tony Brooks is doing it right!
