All of our units have a medium size washer and dryer, updated appliances, tons of closet space, private balcony, and ample parking. Maintenance is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Rent includes water, trash disposal and sewage. Electricity is the responsibility of the tenant.
We also have swimming pool and fitness center. The Joseph Reading Park is located behind us which offers playgrounds and soccer fields.
We are located right off of 28 and conveniently located next to 66, 29 and 28. We are close to shopping and restaurants.

My first apartment, ended up living here for 3 years. No issues at all. Great for someone looking for an affordable place with easy access to 66 and 28. Everything you need is conveniently located near the complex or just 10 - 15 minutes away.
On July 20, 2018 I entered into a 6-month lease agreement between Maplewood Park Apartments; however after personally inspecting the unit I found the conditions of the dwelling unit unfit and uninhabitable due to an ongoing roach infestation. I reported this infestation issue on July 20, 2018 and have since spoken with Tonya Smith, LaShonda DeVaughn and BethAnn Clayborn about it. The leasing agent Tonya Smith was extremely unprofessional and the regional manager BethAnn Clayborn was unsympathetic to my concerns as a resident. The apartment was not properly turned over prior to my move in. For instance, the cabinets were dirty and had writing in them, the walls were not painted to cover up writing from a previous resident and nail holes were not patched. Additionally, there was water damage in the cabinets. It was mutually agreed that my 6-month lease would be voided and I would be given back my security deposit and part of my prorated rent back; however, my full pro-rated rental payment was not returned. I attached photos and video to an e-mail I sent to them on July 30, 2018 but needed to wait until the grievance committee met on August 23, 2018. Their conclusion was that not returning my full pro-rated rental payment was fair based upon them allowing me out of my lease and returning my security deposit and that it was unfortunate that I was unhappy with my apartment. The unit WAS NOT "certified pest free" prior to my occupancy. PestNow the 3rd party vendor that they use DOES NOT offer such "certification." Please see photos attached to this review. Additionally, they may "release the residents responsibility" of the lease agreement but they will keep part of the monies you paid. I was in the apartment less than 24 hours and roaches were EVERYWHERE! I had to immediately move-out and they have refused to compensate me and return my full pro-rated rental payment for the expenses that I incurred as a result of their negligence. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
Honestly, this was my first apartment and I was cautious because of reviews etc. But I'm so glad I didn't. I REALLY like this complex. 1. Everything but electric is included. 2. the apartment is spacious and up to date. 3. The rent is reasonable. 4. The community is quiet and everybody is in their own world. It works for me. THANK YOU BRITTANY for being helpful and immediately submitting my service request to maintenance minor fixes. Check this complex out :
Lived here in 2013..my first apartment. No complaints at all..no issues. Life was nice….my rent was only $1,060!
i leave here but the only one thing i really hate from here is the dumpster are always full of trash people from other places came in to this aprtments and trowh some trash i wish someone can check the cameras and see if they work and try to solve that problem after that parking lots everybody can park in here at night no body check that that is the reason is always trash at the parking lot even bottle of beers but like i say no body have control of that in here no body check that really bad
I've only been here about a month, the office staff are very nice and friendly, the maintenance isn't great but they seem to respond quickly. So far it seems very quiet haven't heard a peep from my neighbors, and right behind the building is a lovely park. So far no regrets!! I recommend checking them out!
Within 4 hours of my arrival to assist my son with moving, my car has been TOWED. Could you give your residents means to accommodate their guests? Sheesh....
Staff is very helpful. Love it here. Wish they would give fines for not cleaning up the dog poop . Really need to get maintenance to keep the buildings cleaner
Only lived here two weeks and the management seems to not like us... Seems they pick on everything
I lived at 8172 #7 back in the early 90s during the time John Bobbitt got cut here. He lived at 8174 #5.
