Very nice park to walk and stroll through. Lot of scenery around with all the pine trees. See Rib Mountain really good off to the south. Kinda fun walking around the fairgrounds too! I haven’t been to Marathon Park since 1989. It was great to see again after all these years!
Numerous little mini playgrounds, all ages can play on some, kiddos love it! There are pavilions for adults and areas to set up for parties, and it's a pretty park. Stadium is very nice, the Monster truck show was a blast!!
Cool Park! Good Times At “Hope in the Park”
Nice size-able park with plenty of large shade trees, seating, numerous playgrounds, and has more than enough to do in the area. Brand new playground was apparently built this year and has a ton of features others in the area do not. My kid had a blast here today. Will definitely be coming back.
I really want to love this park, but if it wasn't hard enough to navigate through, it's been torn up so much that I'm nervous to drive my car in because the flow of traffic is limited to one lane in most areas, the good streets around the park are blocked off, and there are so many potholes and uneven roads that you'll want to spare your car the alignment issues. There are even divits that are so large a car could fall through in front of the reception center but it's not roped off. Sigh, off to Stevens Point.
Looks like a dump. Splash pad is closed despite there being a sign 12pm to 6pm. Looks like its been closed all year.
I love this little park. However I think. " NO Mow May " is in effect and the grounds looked terribly run down. We can thank the Bunny Hugger movement !
Great park, big and nice paths. Great to see Hope in the Park here.
Good for running, cycling and picnics. The concert set up was great too
Great concert space with a lot of seating and parking. Very fun time they could probably do something with the floor level to help with the mud on rainy days.
