Our Story
Waco Area Marco"s Pizza

After 26 years in the Pizza business and 15 years in the Waco area, Bob Mock and his family brought Marco's Pizza to the Brazos Valley in 2014 opening Marco's Woodway. In May of 2016 the Mock's opened Marco's China Spring. In March of 2017 Bob and son Harrison bought Marco's Pizza in Pflugerville. In April 2018 the Mocks will open Marco's Pizza in Bellmead.

The Mocks were drawn to the Marco's Family of businesses for the authentic Italian product featuring hand-tossed dough made fresh daily, and fresh ingredients, as well as Marco's focus on being an excellent community partner. The family is proud to serve all it's Brazos Valley communities and hopes to bring several Marco's Pizzas to our area in the future!

Marco's Pizza History
Marco’s Pizza founder Pasquale “Pat” Giammarco moved to the U.S. from Italy when he was nine years old and grew up working in his family’s pizzeria. He later embarked on a mission to make high quality pizza on a larger scale using a secret sauce recipe that he developed and refined with his father.

Giammarco established three standards in order to deliver the consistent levels of quality and freshness expected of Marco’s products: dough made fresh daily in each store; a proprietary sauce recipe that blends imported spices and vine-ripened tomatoes; and an exclusive blend of three fresh cheeses (never frozen, unlike many pizza chains).

The first Marco's Pizza store opened in Oregon, OH in 1978. Gradually, stores opened throughout the Midwest and then beyond. The Marco’s Pizza menu broadened as well, to include hot sub sandwiches, salads, deserts, and Cheezybread for carryout and delivery.

"Marco's Pizza Woodway makes pizza the authentic Italian way, with dough made fresh in-store every day, a special three-cheese blend, and a sauce recipe that hasn't changed since our founding in 1978."

So, I order the same pizza every single time. Sometimes it’s AMAZING , sometimes it’s pretty good, this time it was terrible . I ordered the pizza the same way I normally do. Not only was it burnt but it was as if there was no sauce on the pizza. Super disappointing considering I am a loyal customer and order atleast twice a week.Food: 1/5
Great customer service, good for families, delicious fresh quality pizzas, not over priced. Love the brownie dessert too! Celiac friendly gf crust offered Vegetarian options: Great selection of fresh veggies for pizza toppings Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza crust offered
No inside dining right now but this place is well worth the cost of takeout or delivery. We are new to this pizza shop but it's become our new favorite! I would definitely try the Old World Pepperoni, it's spectacularly good. We ordered three pies, breadsticks, chicken dippers, and tea. I always like to get a good feel for new pizza joints.
Great pizza just would like the crust cooked a little longerFood: 5/5
We ordered pizza online and arrived a few minutes early for pick up. Decided to just eat our pizza there with our lil ones 1st timer for me at this pizza joint. Pizza was suppose to be well done and it was not minor issue but overall it was super delicious.
Really, y'all? You're lucky your crust is so good and I was starving because I would've sent this back otherwise.
We have been pretty good patrons of the Marco's Pizza in Woodway over the past years. The last time my son ordered, they got the pizzas home didn't check them first and the order was all wrong. My son called and the manager told him that we would have a $30.00 credit on our next order. Said we would have to ask for it when we called in. Well, we ordered 3 weeks later and the general manager wouldn't give us the $30.00 credit. Said he could give us $15.00 instead. Not happy. They lied to us. Will not use them EVER again!
I used to stray away from Marco’s cause their prices were so high, they didn’t have the gimmicky deals like other pizza places. But after getting turned off by service at another pizza chain a few years ago. I decided to give Marcos more of a shot, I am so glad I did too. Let’s talk quality, you get what you pay for, and Marcos has high quality ingredients, which make for a high quality pizza. Their pizza is worth every penny! Yeah you can get cardboard with cheese and sauce and a few other places cheap, but why would you want to rent your food when you can get something that is edible and just tastes good! Their sandwiches are awesome! When we tried those I was amazed at how good they were. I tell you I have not gotten anything from this Marcos I don’t like. On top of all of this their service is amazing! They are so friendly and quick, every time they deliver it surprises me how fast they are. If you want a change from your normal pizza companies give them a try it’s worth it!
The experience was great overall! Aside from the one cute man with a beard calling himself the fastest taking 50 minutes to make my pepperoni pizza. Also the General Manager sucks. The soda taste like soda tho which is a plus! Will be back again :
I was given a coupon for New Movers for a free pizza and ordered a large 2-topping regular crust pizza with pepperoni and Italian sausage and OM gosh it was incredibly tasteful! The Italian sausage was very mild. Im picky about Italian sausage but it had a very light taste to it. The cheese was on point! The whole pizza was gone in a matter of minutes! The whole family enjoyed it!! I will be ordering from here more often! Curbside service was awesome! Very polite and friendly staff! Thank you guys for jobs very well done!
