Nachos are fire. Tacos are too. My wife liked her Passion Fruit Margarita. Had to buy her one so she wouldn't be mad that I wanted tacos again. Taco Tuesday special is up to 10 street tacos for 12 bucks. Since we had a huge plate of Nachos I was only able to eat 6. So disappointed in myself. Rookie numbers. I did try all 4 meats tho & they were all bomb. Go to Maria's. Do it.
I need more allowance, so I can come eat here every day! Very tasty breakfast and I love that they use Peruvian beans instead of the ubiquitous pinto bean. Try the chilaquiles and tell ‘em Doug Funnie sent you!
This was my second time having dinner and it was just as good as the first time! The service was great to start and our servers were super friendly. I highly recommend the horchata, very delicious. The Chile Colorado was seasoned very well, perfectly portioned and absolutely tasty. Highly recommend!
What a gem! The food is wonderful! The Habanero salsa is spicy but just right, plus their home made Peruvian beans are excellent. Loved their Machaca omelette. Nice and generous portions too. Highly recommended and they are so nice!
Our server was nice. The chips tasted like they were from a bag and expect to pay for a refill of chips $2. The guacamole was ok but if its happy hour, make sure you specify you want that one $6 and not the one for $11 not worth it. The chef failed to tell the server that they were out of something and just modified the dish and then weirdly brought the missing item from the bistro next door. The taste was very different and had so many broken mussel shells in it. The steak fajitas had ok flavor but the meat was dry and the dish was drenched in oil. The beans and rice had no flavor. Ordered a chile relleno, which grandma said was good and why we went in the first place, and she stated that today it had no flavor. They did take off the fajitas from our bill and knocked 10% off the other dish. Did not change the price on guacamole. Overall, this experience was subpar. It was too expensive for 2 meals, 2 drinks nonalcoholic and guacamole. $75 Do not recommend for dinner. Will not be going back.
First time here, and Maria's Did NOT Disappoint. In fact at 3am this morning, not being from the area, I asked my Simi Valley Family, 'Who serves The BEST Breakfast in All of Simi Valley?' The resounding response was "Maria's!!" And Boy, the reasons to enjoy Breakfast In Particular at Maria's are Plentiful! They have multiple staff on hand that come to your table and check on you constantly. Although Maria wasn't in, like many of the reviews I read where service was lacking due to this fact, Today Service was On Point!! We had a total of 6 meals for breakfast. Although I can only speak for My Meal, the others meals looked equally scrumptious. Their Chili Colorado Omelette was delivered hot And tasty. However, perhaps because I ordered it made with egg whites, it wasn't quite an omelette. It looked and was cooked like a Chili Relleno, but was not. Anyway, the bottom line is that it was deeeelicious!! Upon leaving they gave me info about their M&B Steak and Seafood, which has a 4.4 Stars. Apparently they will start offering Lunch Service Soon! I'll have to make my way back out to Simi, to give that place a try! Keep up the Great Work, Maria's. I can see why YOU are the 'breakfast dining choice' of many local residents.
The place is well taken care off. It is clean, neat, and well designed. Food is very delicious and menu is on a good price range.Food: 5/5
Very good local restaurant in Simi valley, plenty of food choices to enjoy, good vegetarian choices too. Vegetarian options: They have veggie choices for everything in the menu.

Had some Breakfast with a colleague and got the cactus omelet and a coffee. Excellent service, great food. Sat outside of the patio which leaves little to the imagination beyond sidewalk tables.Food: 4/5
