I went here alone one early afternoon and ordered the shrimp and vegetable chimichanga. It had broccoli and beans inside, which was unique but good. The shrimp were big and had a smoky/grilled flavor, but they were a bit chewy.Recommended dishes
The food was actually really good. We decided to have dinner with our friends. Mariachi's was a last minute choice bc every where else we wanted to go was closed. None of us had eaten there before... In the end, it was a great way to close our day.Food: 5/5
Good food and great service! They were very friendly and attentive. I requested a slight modification to my dish and they accommodated it.Food: 4/5
It's not authentic, but it never fails to please the whole family! Everything's delicious, especially the little combo meals on the back of the menu and the Carnitas. The Burrito Suizo is good for sharing. Everyone loves the margaritas, the service is consistently good, and it's a nice place to dine in. I recommend this!Food: 5/5
Chips had no flavor. Margarita coated my mouth with a strange film. The Chile Colorado had a strange after taste. Service was excellentFood: 3/5
So disappointed. We went on a Saturday early lunch. The restaurant was clean and smelled good and the greeter was very pleasant. That's all the positive I have. The salsa was very bland, the waitress was fast to bring us our check but slow on everything else. There was another table of 3 in there beside us 2. We went safe, if they mess up on standard Mexican fare then I don't trust them to do more difficult things. The tamales have about 2" of mesa around them and a small portion of pork, the chicken enchilada was good the tostada was bad. It tasted like Old El Paso taco seasoning. I expect more. As we like to say we've been there twice and won't be going back.
The food was decent, portions were good sized, and prices were a little too high, though. My biggest complaints were that our server never smiled and was actually unfriendly. She never came back to refill my drink, I had to flag her down. When I asked about a special I saw on their website, she tried to shame me by saying that they almost closed due to the pandemic, so there isn’t any specials. Her tone and angry eyes let me know that she was mad that I even asked. So why don’t you take the specials off your website? The bills they handed out didn’t have any of the items listed on it, so you couldn’t tell if you even had the right check or what they charged. Lastly, I had a friend call to order a “to go plate”, and he asked if he could have chips and salsa too, since last time he didn’t receive any, and that they give them in the restaurant. The person on the other end said no, chips make you fat. Do you believe that? Wow, it's not the friendliest place. I'm not sure if I’ll be back.
The first thing is the salsa was really good, it wasn't salty like most place's. The chicken strip kid meal was big strips and a healthy serving of fries. The nachos had onion, peppers and grilled chicken it was really good plus nice serving size for $10. The atmosphere was soft and appealing. I would recommend this at least once. Plus you wont have to wait like going into Edwardsville.
Dinner for 4 was good. We had 2 drinks and 2 soft drinks. The Mexican salad and chicken with cheese and rice were great. Plenty of chips and salsa were served right away. No crowd and no waiting for a seat. Service was excellent. Come on in.
Food is good. Service is fast. Half the seating area was converted to electronic poker/gaming, so it's a bit crowded now. Prices have gone up with the current financial climate.
