Beautiful historic building sits just off Marietta Square and houses wonderful exhibitions of local and regional artists from all genres and mediums. The staff is thoughtful in their approach to the artists and exhibitions they choose to display. Enjoy your experience at an opening reception and then walk to one of the many eateries or bars on the Square for a top-notch date night!
We went without a reservation with a group of seniors one afternoon. They were so accomidating! Allowed us to use a back entrance that had a ramp, have us all the time needed to get everyone off the bus, senior discounts, the group was really impresario with the collection that was very modern. We did not go up stairs as a group but I snuck a peak up there. Very building had a very interesting layout that is worth seeing in itself. Absolutely worth the cost. Will return.
Was unable to fully experience this museum because the elevator is STILL Out Of Service. We have made several attempts to visit in the last year & each time are stopped by this. Please Fix!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
Lovely, small museum with excellent exhibits. What they lack in quantity they make up for in quality. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and excited to talk about the artwork and answer questions. I wish the museum could open another of its rooms up as another gallery - there were only two at the time of our surprisingly quick visit.
Very small museum with excellent exhibits throughout the year. Amazing staff. Thank you!
Great work located here. The building and space really lend to a great gallery experience. The staff is friendly and they seem to host great get togethers, definitely want to come back for the next installation of work.
Very nice museum in beautiful old building that once served as a post office.
Great photos of folks we are invisable to us on the street though we see them every day. Each is accompanied by an essay about the photo subject, a revelation of how distanced we privileged folks are able to make ourselves from their struggles. I'm going back when there is more time to study each one and absorb this art.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
My first time visiting this beautiful, historic museum and the architecture alone was worth the trip! The Jim Hill and Chad Cole exhibitions were absolutely beautiful albeit heart wrenching. I will definitely be back in 3 months for new exhibits!!
Small but well laid out museum. Very affordable though we had a groupon. Variety of mediums, styles, and subjects so definitely worth wandering through when you have a few minutes. Walking distance to downtown is a bonus but finding parking can be very difficult if there's anything going on festival, fair, etc..
