Dr.Misch
I am originally from China, where I graduated in 1994 as a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from Shanghai Second Military Medical University. Besides practicing as a surgeon, I also participated in published research on nerve injury and treatment. I was given some training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), as is the practice in China, but my background was strongly that of a Western Medicine doctor.
My own personal struggles with a debilitating liver disease in the 90's led to a major shift in my medical focus. Unresponsive to the best care that Western Medicine could provide, my disease was cured by a TCM doctor in China; this exposure to the capability of Chinese medicine sparked an interest that led me to ultimately pursue TCM as my full-time profession.
I am truly passionate about the care I can provide my patients, and I hope to use my training from both here in the U.S. and post-graduate work in China to help as many people as possible obtain their ultimate health.
