Attended the annual Cow Chip Art and Craft Fair in the park. Always held the Saturday before Labor Day. 80 crafts booths. Enjoyed our visit. Will return next year. A family tradition.
Nice little park right in town. Couple of nice shelters. Mapping says that they have the state cow chip throwing contest here. Nice little nine-hole disc golf course with cement tpads.
There are 2 sets of play equipment, one for kids 4 and under, and one for older kids. There is a pavilion to eat at that is protected from most of the weather. It's close to the parade routes that go through prairie du sac, during the year. It's also a great place to let kids experience frisbee golf for the first time. While it's a beginner level course that's perfect for someone just starting to frolf.
Very small layout. Short holes for the most part. But you can get thru all 9 in about 20-25 mins with ease.
Beautiful shady area by a shelter for hot days and sunny shelters too. Great play areas and fluffy grass. Some shelters have bathrooms and pretty nice prices for reservations. Will be great for our get together at the end of the month.
Nice little beginners disc golf course.
Great park Cow Chip throw great non profit fundraiser in a very nice old park. In a proud community "be kind" of town.
Has everything you want in a park! Playground, picnic area, nice open spaces if ya want to kick a soccer ball around along with a 9 hole disc golf course!
Fun place to be at especially the Cow Chip Throw and the bands that perform.
Attended a celebration of life event. Beautiful park. Nice with lots of shade trees.
