Marion Vol Fire Dept. is an all Volunteer agency which covers the cities of Marion and Santa Clara, and surrounding portions of Guadalupe County, Texas.
Marion VFD provides Fire, Rescue, and EMS First Response services. We work with Schertz EMS, our area's transporting EMS agency that provides medical direction and continuing education to our dept. We have 3 stations all located in the City of Marion with a total of five apparatus. Our members receive fire training to meet the State Fireman's and Fire Marshal's FFI & II curriculum. Many also choose to seek certification in EMS, we currently have 3 Paramedics, 3 EMT-Basic, and 2 ECA providing medical care for the dept. Members also have opportunity to receive specialty training in Vehicle Extrication, Rope/Confined Space/Trench Rescue, Hazmat and Swiftwater Rescue.
